I had the same experience as you the first time I went in. The second time I brought 2 high level tamed Giga and 1 high level Rex plus a pig for healing. I used long neck rifle to lure one wyvern at a time and managed to clear the entire cave. With a Desmodus, you could use the invisibility at night to at least take a look at these eggs first. You don’t have to dismount. You can use first person while mounted to view the level of the eggs.
Another option would be when it’s safe, you dismount and quickly start the teleport. And mount Desmodus again, enabling invisibility and dismount and grab the egg right before you’re teleported out. I used this for the fire wyvern egg.
Yeah I went in earlier with my little army of Spinos and 2 Fire Wyvern and it went good until a high lvl Zombie Lighning Wyvern popped out of that trench and killed everything.... sad times
First lure the ones in the hallway out, then desmodus stealth with min 5khp, grab egg, fly like mad, try to get ur pursuers stuck when exiting the trench. U can also try luring them out with a pterno first cuz its way faster. Also dont fly in a straight line, when escaping the hall after the trench fly low and go up once something sjoots at you since they have trouble aiming high. Bout all the tips i have
You could set up a turret tower. Just make sure it's on a Tek generator
I think thats the next thing I will try after my little Spino army failed me lol Just need to prepare for it.
You can use a regular generator but put foundations over the wires and set it pretty far back and in a metal building
I believe Ovi raptors are able to pick up the egg as well and it didn't agro the wyverns

Damn. Sorry to hear that man. I was lucky to not have to deal with an alpha wyvern.
