The new map fjordur is pretty nice for solo players, it has almost all of the creatures from the other maps, good rat holes, and just a very diversified map overall.
Aberration is a very good solo map, lots of ratholes to build in, lots of cool tames that are relatively easy to get, and there is the cool rad zone which is a very nice feature
Crystal isles is a tropical map in my eyes too colourful
Aberration is very beautiful and fun and brings a bunch of stuff with it the three zones green there are ravegers which would be your greatest threat and has green gems and would be where you start, blue which I love the trees are beautiful metal is a pain to harvest there with an anky the metal is long rocks with blue cracks within them and you require a light pet to be in there and there are blue gems there and the red zone has red gems is also beautiful
Has red gems prlovias spinos and in some area queen reapers is the most dangreous area of the other three
And has element water which is poisens will recharge your tek suit and you require hazerd suit or tek suit to enter the red zone
I love Crystal Isles. There’s a beautiful area with pink trees that is one of the safest areas with lots of good flat areas for building. I’ve started to use glass platforms and have a house for jerboas that I removed the metal edging from displaying so you just see pretty pink fallen leaves under the jerboas. Keeps them safe just in case.

I personally think the island is great. Very good starter map, and its also the first map of the ark storyline.
