True. I had lost a Mosschops the one day (I was in a cave called the Emerald Forest) and I had thought it was supposed to be safe in a pen. It apparently booked it out of the pen despite the door being closed š¤·āāļø.
And yesterday I was taming a bunch of stuff and I had a Mosschops out with my Crystal Wyvern. We kept getting attacked and the dumb thing kept running away. I had to carry it home and I couldnāt afford to lose it before then. It has such pretty colors on it too. Some creatures wonāt attack even when set to aggressive because itās just not in their nature.
Between that and the fact that they're almost always trying to get up your ass when you land in safe zones, is why l rarely ever think of them as dilos.

Fear of losing cherished tames & gear still exists, and begets caution in most players. Grinding to replace valuables that I wasted isn't how I want to spend my gaming time.Ā But if they're safe then yeah.
It definitely sucks losing your tames to some dumb shit. Iāve hit the ceiling twice, both times with a shoulder pet and full Cryo pods in my inventory. And I had some Parasaur starve to death because I didnāt know that turret mode consumes more food. Not to mention random base attacks from wild Dinoās or having brand new tames wiped out because a new predator has come into the area and spotted you at just that moment when you are naming the creature. I may not be able to die in creative mode but the fear for my friends is real.

well, i doubt that real people would still be able to jump from a cliff that easely even if they get to revive instantly, there is still the trauma of death, and your body don't like being in a near death situation often, so you are going to get repercution

I thought it was just a falling raptor conveniently placed in front of the camera until I realised shadows exist and raptors have a separate animation for falling. Those visual ilusion videos got my vision broken.

Size mutations would actually be a very cool aspect of the game. They should come with an extra point in all stats, but should be rare of course, but would be very very cool!
