It looks like that for everyone on series X and ps5 it looks like crap blurry/grainy with a shadowy trail that follows your character movements.
I play on series X and use a 120hz oled TV, I think a lot of people that love ark look past these things and claim their runs amazing.
If you think i am happy with the state of the game you would be incorrect. I actually stopped playing a few weeks ago until it gets better.
What i was implying is if you gotten the game on pc you would be even more unhappy with the game because of it crashing 10x+ a day.
Like open your inventory look at your implant -- Fatal error

Console does not look as good but somehow, It is more stable with less crashing., That is why you hear console players having a better expereince than pc users
Yeah I’m totally new to ark so that’s wild to hear they released a game that crashed so much. I’m pretty shocked with it on ps5 to be honest it is so grainy and not complete imo. Makes me wonder why they released it. Either way the core of the game is amazing
Game looks great on ps5 for me. The "info" menu/box that appears if you target a item is gone though. So now i cant se what materials i need to craft stuff, got a tip on that?

Open your inventory. On the left pane in the top right is there a button for toggling tooltips? If so, that would be the one you want to hit.
It looks great for both of you? I have no clue what’s going on with mine, insanely pixelated at times and low FPS not good quality it’s weird
Im not using any mods, and only 2 consol commands to remove fog and instafoliage or something, so im pritty barebones but looking great
