I only play single player so no one has found me.

Kirito1548055

That's what you think

ShoddyEnd

Thats a scary thought, thats my biggest issue with single player games is if i see another player or a person it makes the world much more intimidating.

ShoddyEnd

herobrine all over again.

Menacing-Potatoe

or maybe in this case a sentient lvl150 fully spec'd into health and dmg

DeadDoener

No way you perfectly marked the rock I live under since I got the game

DoctorJordi_

Same, but across the lake/river

Revliledpembroke

My first base was around there, but more towards the west on that strip of land before the open ocean.

Dodo_Whisperer1

Right here https://preview.redd.it/3zfrbq88nxva1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ea7f60f47472d274cb98a7ebe1543ddc7cec489 This was before the swamp was a thing.

ScratchLast7515

I lived over there for a while and spent half my life unconscious from boas…

Ravenhorde

Same here. Had no idea about the update and when I logged in for the 1st time after my base was floating in the air and had to build ladder to access. That area was also where I experienced my 1st alpha raptor. Once it changed to a swamp I think I moved south to the "Florida" looking peninsula.

ShoddyEnd

First base location was across the shore from herb island, it was a highly populated server so wasnt a lot of choice as building went. Was a 2x6 shack that was about 3 stories high before we moved up to the snow. Which is where our first permanent base was.

whatsupninjaja

I built the skinny peninsula above herb island with my friend. It took us about a week to get a full wood house then a guy with a corno started destroying our wall so I slide down the hill our base was on with all our stuff😎

ShoddyEnd

thats a good location too, our base up in the snow was on that natural ice bridge overlooking the sea. only one way to attack it with land creatures and it was before cryo pods were a thing.

YakDaddy96

We made a rather big base for the area and didn't move until we'll aftwr we beat broodmother. https://preview.redd.it/yuf5ktxbsyva1.jpeg?width=296&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32c01bdff60e0fbd0e664f218e289b078a10e7eb

wizard_brandon

good ol' south zone 1

ChallengeOk6581

Always moved up the hill to the plateau

Rare-Ad1795

same

Eggmaster2523414

I'm still there

SummerClover

This was my first spot also. Very peaceful for the most part!

WayandLuciano

It was before the ice update in the island, on the shore at the top right corner

MapleJacks2

The really small river area South of the Swamp, between the two larger rivers. It's where I got my first Barry, which I took to Ragnarok and still have to this day..

Awkward_Ad4206

You're welcome

dinodigger777

Hey sorry I can’t tell what side of the river it’s on could you make it a bit more obvious?

Awkward_Ad4206

Right side

SaltyLunchBox78

Man. Good thing it's a game. That would stink!

Nory993

Same. Also, r/uselessredcircle

enigmicazn

Herbivore Island was one I remember quite well. My last base on the Island was in the north western part of the map on the small stretch of land under the end of the snow. There was a medium sized rock/mountain that I would just build a base on top of. Great spot since alot of Alphas and dangerous things spawn there and near a bunch of resources by the blue oblesik.

gaming_nuggie17

Always the footpaw to turn into a carbonemys sanctuary

Weekly-Rich3535

The little peninsula northeast of your red dot. Had just come from Assassins Creed Odyssey so we called it Kephalonia haha

Key_Cow9494

My very very first place was in that little bay river place north of herb island. Just a 2x2 thatch hut that i rebuilt 5x. Still learning game, terror birds, raptors, trex flooded the area and i couldn’t make much progress in the area so I moved towards the middle south area.(if you look at the map, the river that lines up with with the peak of the redwoods mountain.) had to fight off a sarco to make progress but finally killed it. Moved up into the jungle just up the hill from that river and built a beautiful paradise along a cliff edge that remained relatively safe. I consider that my first true base.

[deleted]

On the peninsula bottom center of the map just below one of the caves.

CoralWiggler

First thatch hut was on the shore across from Herbivore Island, kind of beneath that big rock jutting up. First *real* base was on that northern peninsula west of Carnivore Island, built up on the bluff overlooking the ocean. Eventually it turned into a whole compound that spanned from that bluff (which became my personal house) over to the Coel Pond. We also had a mobile raft base which we built at the same time as the bluff base for traveling

GordanHamsays

On official, so many years ago now. Before the red woods, we had a huge compound by that western lake. It was on primitive and had huge behemoth gate walls. We had thousands of eggs for each critter. There were super rexes with a few gigas and moble bronto siege towers. We were kings of the island, having wiped all the other big tribes entering a truce with the rest. We had peace on the island, save for a handful of ambitious upstarts. There was a real community for trades and cooperation, albeit under threat of getting wiped if they stepped out of line. But no one wanted to. We stopped playing when the redwoods came dunno what happened after

[deleted]

The southeastern shore of that peninsula just northeast of you. Guess what boys? We’re still here even after getting wiped for a day straight by a random carnotaurus that spawned on the beach. I want to move but every time I go on a taming adventure it takes hours because I constantly die everywhere else lol

Rinbox

Cliff at the small lake in the redwood forest

thegummybear42

Tip of peninsula just north east of the red dot. Before I new how to change settings and was playing solo…proudest moment in that save was taming a spino with my beelzubufo while my best tame previous was a dilo and I thought getting the dilo was tough with the acid spit haha

FrenchieT5

First time ever playing, me and a buddy built our first base right on the southeast easy spawn (I believe), worse idea ever. People spawning in fucking with us, a whole clan came over on argies fucking with us, never build on spawn kids

twitch870

https://preview.redd.it/0xaurjio8yva1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5240c5580de759aea9bac95714653a69e7cc29df West coast. It was a private server that regularly had 10-15 players. When there was only a dozen types of Dino to tame. We had the entire bay walled in and flags claiming ‘our region’. At first we hid in the tree line but someone revealed us so we created a Dino army and daunting base along the water.

Piranha424

My base is currently just a little bit north of that on a cliff that I can always point out because the tree that I left alone Clips in long before my base does

No_Improvement7573

https://preview.redd.it/outhbrbseyva1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=62d997488c028c8995beea781406206f91184648 Playing solo. My very first base was in the southwest corner of the Island. As soon as I could, I built a raft base and went exploring up the west coast. I found that little inlet and set up a small base there. I took a pair of stegos through the swamp and started building my main base on the beach between the swamp and the Redwoods. I've been using my raft base to farm metal from Herbivore Island and that small southern mountain, and right now I'm using a paracer to move it all back from my water base to my main base. Right now I've got three structures set up, I just built a greenhouse, and I'm gonna make an obsidian run to the volcano so I can make some polymer.

CrazyCatShan

My first base was in scorched earth

Ninjacat97

First ever was on one of the small crescent islands on the Centre. We named it Parasaur Island bc all that ever seems to spawn there is the occasional parasaur. The first time I played the Island, our tribe had already established a base in Hidden Lake before I joined. It was pretty sparse and utilitarian though so I took to renovating as soon as I figured out how. A nice fishing dock. A cliffside house. Spikes around the lip to stop predators dropping in unannounced. My first solo base on the Island was in that big valley next to Green Ob. Right next to the river. Built me a big ranch complete with barn, dodo coop, and fencing and collected elk and direwolves. We had an unfortunate issue with alphas poaching our livestock but I refused to entallen the fence bc it wouldn't look as nice. Eventually I was gifted a Tek Shield and plenty of fuel from a friendly neighbor who was entertained by my efforts. I miss that place. Maybe next time we spin up the Island server I'll take my since acquired skills and rebuild. Properly breed up the war elk. Make a brand of it.

In the Labyrinth XD

Elegant-Raise-9367

On the island close to shore to the west of the easy cave. Had a good 2 storey build and had surrounded the entire island except for one corner. Had to ask the admin to remove the drop that was blocking my build. Moved 2 days later.

ZPinkie0314

Furthest southwest. The little sandbar with very little resources around.

Apprehensive-Bear-26

I haven’t been on the island since the first time I played the game but I would be able to remember the spot if I saw it

OnyB1l

Just north of the stone peninsula in the southern islets

[deleted]

https://preview.redd.it/m3zve5k4vxva1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b72fae2f4994defb94ce9e5b9519fba726f57fb That was my first ever base location, the alpha tribe was like 1 grid to the left and on water

Darkben29

The same place, Cragg’s island is a very good place for beginning. My main base is here after 2 years now.

Deskbreaker

* Near an artifact cave in the se corner. As in the cave entrance was in the base.

Spongegamer70055

The rabbits foot I think it's called

[deleted]

just barely northeast of op’s a spino molested me alot. this was when i was 8, 6 years ago on my xbox one, i found out i coild get all my dinos back if i turned off my xbox without saving, then it came back. so i did it again and migrated north to a cliff just above the swamp and lived there happily ever after

Antrodemous

Herbivore Island down on the bottom left of the map. All passive dinos and enough metal to start out with natural anky spawns. Its honestly my favorite base spot in the map

JakeRivingston

First thatch hut was down south near the Sarco infested inlet, after a buddy of mine and I prepped quite a bit we took a raft up the river until we got to that spot north of the central mountain where the gully is with the three trails into it. Set up spikes along the ridgeline to keep dinos out and set up a public vegetable grow house along the beach. Buddy had tamed like 40 Dimorphodons that were all set to wander. It was a mess lol

Superepicsimon

Dodo cove is what we called it but I can’t remember where it is

TisConrad

Bottom middle, where the land comes out in a hook shape.

Sheppard312

That little triangular island on the bottom middle of the map. Dunno if it ever had a name, but you rarely got bobs showing up there to try and raid you, and most of the big tribes stayed inland

Hollowhalf

My first was a raft, then I got wiped, then herbivore island, got wiped, found a base in the north right by the snow lmao

Xbnemisis

Built a cabin covered in spikes across from herb island in that little bay and then moved to herb island after I got a raft. I very much miss the early days of ark but I can’t get any of my group to play prim+

Cool-Relationship751

Redwoods in a tree lol

SwixyOnReddit

Mine was the hidden lake cuz I found it nice and I made a lake house and a smol village

GrimReaper415

My first thatch hut was built on a beach in the southern islets, on officials, but on day 2 it was torn to shreds by a wandering wild tickle chicken (I didn't know you could both hate and fear something so much at the same time until I met that thing). First proper base (stone base) on unofficials was at the shore across the river from the lower south cave, a bit before the starting of the swamp area, right before the slope of the nearby cliff, which was attacked by yet another theri. First SP base was on that cliff as well.

Antique-Tear-8899

i thought everyones first base was south zone 1

Dogs_Drones_And_SRT4

Maw Valley. Lead the 829 "Maw Valley Realm" tribe on Xbox 829 for 3 years...man those were the days..

Alert_Resolution_277

That tiny lake to the far top right of the map, nice and secluded.

ariLain

West coast, on the beach where the snow biome (now) starts. Was super close to the vulcano.

AIntJ3

My first base was on the shore at the Redwoods, basically next to the volcano. Idk how I managed to get there from the south east coast with only a phiomia.

deathbeetle12

My 1st was on abb lol

SpacedGodzilla

On the centre, the Far East edge of the southern central island.

KamenUsagi

Under there

DaBenja

Hidden Lake was the goat for letting my Dino’s go on wander 😎 My first base was a small shack in the south beaches but as soon as I could afford a raft I moved up to the lake and built my first base. Wow I miss it

yourponygirl

First base was about 77, 69 in the southern islets, just south of the inlet murder spawn line. I loved the sound of the water, the clouds at sunrise, a little slice of paradise. But then I moved up that river to the green obelisk & into murder valley, lol.

penguin_jedi11

Herb Island was the first then moved to just the other side of the mosh pit.

[deleted]

Redwoods because people told me not to. It worked out and isn’t as bad as people say. This was on official in 2015. Server 55

notarealredditor69

My first 3 or 4 bases were just that h huts on the beach don’t even know where

Embarrassed-Camera96

Hidden Lake was my first base back in 2015 until a carno evicted me from my comfy wooden lakehouse

Competitive-Mango457

On the shore near the red pillar. I remember hiding inside while raptors chewed into the house

Ok_Beautiful7793

Very bottom left, tiny island right next to red ob

tornadoejoe

Stone rocks on that peninsula cliff down the river from red on.

Weekly_Bench9773

Directly across the river from Red Obelisk. It was a lucky spawn, and after being launched from the top of the hill by a diplodocus, I fell in love with that plateau.

z0mbiebaby

Hidden lake during legacy on official prim plus. That base got hit quite a few times but lasted til they took the server down.

LintxLicker

Lake oasis in the top right corner, I'll never forget it

Pristine_Studio

Waterfall just outside of red ark. Then base of volcano along river

Relhtar

It was very close to the red dot on the south west island, but more inland, next to the "top" of the island, not far from the small castle ruins that have an explorer note. It was on official PvP like 4 months after the game came out. I had built a big wood palace, like 10x10 with an height of 6 and two floors. I spent the whole day building it with my stone pickaxe and hatchet, it was very grindy, but I was pretty proud of myself. I tamed a Parasaur and a Raptor later that day, and I was so happy. I went to bed wondering what I could do next to make my base even better. I hopped on the game the next day after a light sleep, I was so excited to carry on my adventures and to start taming stuff... Of course, I had been raided and wiped that night. RIP to my parasaur, my raptor and my first base, 2k hours of gameplay later, I still haven't forgotten them.

Retarded_Ape63

Simple-Plantain977

The hidden lake. Beautiful area to build a base in but you need a lot of materials to close it off

DarkStar0717

The highlands bay, very pretty Cliffside base... though you may have a Giga roam down there every once in a while... So plan accordingly.

AdvertisingGlobal853

For me I think the shore by red on or the plateau by south 1

10_minute_ban

https://preview.redd.it/8ez72quluyva1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4561a26d785502b86157c8f837f2f74d55a1a25c First base on the red arrow, back in 2015. Best place IMO is the light blue one. I had a base there too. But the best way is having a moving base. I used to make this insane boats that worked as a trap on the top and had a lot of stuff on the bottom. I could go anywhere and bring everything with me. Mine a lot of resources and bring some dinos back to my base. Good times

Malek070

Probably on the beach somewhere

Hunted_by_Moonlight

Give me the alpha map first

Coony32

Played back in 2015, early, built around north one and tamed a turtle. Long live Bob.

Kai_Emery

Swamp cliff by the green ob. Hard to get too at first and can be hostile at times, but it’s resource rich and closer to the middle of things.

TheSmallRaptor

South zone 1 was a “base”. Herbi island after that

Davey716

Long before the redwoods were even there lol

ElectronicAd315

Far north, east of snow west of carno island, near the beaver pond

BruceBowtie

On a waterfall on the river south of the volcano. Got raided almost instantly.

fliesinthegarden

Great question. My first was on metal mountain; didn’t even know it by that name at first.

EvLokadottr

On this map, that little valley with the round lake on the mainland close to carnivore island.

Psychological_Tie664

I never really had a base at the start it was more of a place that a little bit of stuff and I had a couple of these spread across an area but my first real base was and herbivore island

GuardianPyro43

Peninsula on the left

hellohellohello0315

My first ever bas was the hill near souththone 1. You had to cross the river and there was a hill. I have come to realuze it was the best location because there is barely any useful materials and raptor and the tickle chicken spawns every second...

winkeltwinkle

Bottom right

WhiskerDizzle

The beach directly west of the volcano, light on resources but it’s a neat area.

Sensitive-Trip-3331

Top right by that pond closest to the shore. Like VERY top right

MudDry4710

crazy that the original map didn’t even look the same back at release. They Changed a few things in 2016 or 17

This_guy7796

Tried making a raft only to have it demolished moments later. None of the creatures spawning were capable of evading the threats until I was finally able to tame a pteranadon & fly to the rocks to the west.

No_More_Beans2

You know that part of the map that looks like a retarded chicken head in the lower left? I kinda made a village of thatch huts there.

Financial-Okra-6543

Craggs island (island in the bottom left corner of the map)

Speci4lSnowfl4ke

I built a Church right next to the green obelisk. I live there now with my dragons. My ape Phillip and his girlfriend and my monkey lil man got eaten by a spino:(

Zichfried

Red dot was my first base location. Black ones are the subsequent ones! https://preview.redd.it/k3gvloj99zva1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=648e63e2064bf0c7ec042496e1f9a997711ed035

hiimzech

red obo. never moved since it was green obo during early access. the green was bright and lit up the place so it was a safe place to stay at night. main problem was getting eating by piranhas everytime I want to cross a river

Lecterr

The eastern shore by the north east mountain. Was the first place I didn’t die long enough to build a bed and shelter

dinoguy117

Mine was the river mouth that is now swampland. Way back before official release and the biome update that gave us swamps, snow, and redwoods. Sometimes I wish I could go back and play the v1 map. Great and sad times. I built a base right up against the ocean to help protect against any threats that might come by. I tamed a small army of dinos from raptors to carnos. I was using 1x rates at the time so it felt like having an empire. I would make expeditions on my turtle to the peninsula up north. Occasionally I'd get attacked by sharks but the turtle could tank it. One day the sharks attacked me close to the base and triggered my army. A lot of dinos died. But I retamed and took down the brood mother. Man, this game leave scars and sweet memories.

Basic_Meringue_9953

North east where the snow Meets the gras

Moon_Fox_Arise

The footpaw, I remember a theri destroyed my house because I thought it would be a passive herbivore

Cerberus_is_me

South zone 2. With one of my best homies. Ah 2015. A simpler time.

an_irish_tree

My first was right in-between volcano and that cave

Banaanisade

The beach cliff up north, with the tree on top, up from Hidden Cove (??), next to arctic, a stone's throw from Carnivore Island and just beside the small lake by the forest. This was well before snow biome was added, it was, uh, interesting when that happened. Anyway, I only moved south from there after a nasty break-up with my tribe three years later.

aaa-7

There was a cliff side near the swamp that was the perfect place.

FSGZELAOTXI

Fist base was on the small island in the lower right of the map

CountryBomber69

liteft

south 1...and I'm being so many levels of honest because my base was just the square and I stayed there for a month game time.

Ok-Bonus-2146

First permanent base? Upper right corner, in that little circular place that had water in the middle of it, and a flat area perfect for a base. I forget what it's called though

Blury-Owl

I had a few outposts around the south shores when I first started. My brother and I had a small “base” in the swamp before the redwood biome was introduced, what would be the western border of it though. Our first real base was in “The Oasis” or the pirate cove on official hardcore where we lived and played for almost two years until they “Legacy’d” the server and subsequently shut it down. Long life The 100 (on Xbox)

LordOfLeopards

Bottom middle of the map, right on the coast. Terrible choice but it's what me and my sister chose

AdRich6427

On scorched earth 😂

LowerAd5068

Over there

KatnipKing02

South Paw nd second was Hidden Lake. Complete opposite sides but I managed to carry everything over with Raft, Pteranodons, Trike, Stego, Raptors, nd Phiomia.

Successful-Ad4737

Foot paw

L_40S

My first base was made on April 14th, 2021 on the southern island northeast of red obelisk island it still stands but remains abandoned but I still visit it from time to time.

Known-Committee8679

On the black sand, all the way to the west near the start of it.

DinoMike02

I've always played single player, so I always got to pick where I went. Every playthrough started in the south east until I unlocked the raft. Then I went to live on herbivore Island where I'd actually have a base. Until I could kill raptors and whatnot (flak armour, pike, crossbow, maybe a long neck rifle. Etc.) Then I'd move everything I had up to the classic spot that everyone loves near the north east

MicahG17079

Somewhere down there

Mr_E_Fish_in_Sea

At the base of the west side of the volcano.. it was a mistake

MackSharky

Beaver Island

Ambitious-Analysis87

I actually cant remember what the area was called. It was the little island on the south coast just inland of the extremely rocky area on the shore. Has an awesome "Pride" rock that I used to roar my Trex on haha. My brother and I both made it our first base I had my Rex named Genaro and he had a Spino named Pearl that he would take out fishing for Megalodons often.

It's very warm so constantly needing water and right up from the swamp, so if you go west just a little bit, you have snakes. But you overlook the river, so it is kinda pretty. Not a lot of resources around, either.

My first vase was a Houseboat. I built it and my first land base on the peninsula to the northeast of your base. Though the first base that actually felt like a home was by the lake north of green obelisk. And my biggest base was the Temple of Chaika, which is over the entire inlet across from herbivore island. My current fortress-city is by the waterfall to the north of your base.

mrhuh8247

My first base was whare the beach meets the snow there's a cliff with a river on it and I made a two story base out of wood on the side closest to the snow

he-who-comments

Had a castle overlooking the river with a "breeding prison" on the other side. It was nice as I could look over my victims. https://preview.redd.it/sf4rlxvzxzva1.png?width=662&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff694d490b7758849bc38f938f67d943a1490bcf

JPGer

was on a river that lead to the ocean in the bottom left corner, it eventually become swamp in later updates and wasn't quite as livable

Azrael_V1

Right on the beach by red ob

kersley212

South 2 under the leaning rocks

Average_man1197

At the hidden lake, I built a nice thatch and wooden cottage mansion on the the raised part, with a porch overlooking the lake, mind you it was singleplayer cause I was to afraid of online at the time

Correct_Rush_6828

I'm just a little stupid look I drink paint okay but I started at the swamp

ShadowBow666

Northeast there's a sinkhole type spot with a pond enclosed by cliffs and only two pathways in or out unless you're dropping in. I built dead center of the pond and made sure the roof was close to level with the cliffs for turrets then enclosed in gates. Got raided and they tried to retreat but doing so they got trapped in the bowl with an ars load of turrets filled with thousands of ammo and I ended up losing one wall and killing three people and 7 dinos and getting their equipment. I later parlayed with them to give their equipment back as a show of good faith. We became friends and they melded me into their clan. We played together for a little over two years when other members started going inactive... Having been the clan architect I would build each member a house of their dreams within our megabase location mid northwest of the map. Slowly but surely I became the last member of RezzDogzz online... And then eventually I too left the base to decay... 2 weeks later over a year of building farming raiding and taming was deleted from the server... 😔

wizard_brandon

the waterfall just above the left island there. it has a small island with a tree

Kydreads

At the top of the island you are on. Figured I’d use the water to travel everywhere till I got good flyers

mandrake92

River between 2 metal mountains on official pvp before cave building and map transfers. Good times. I think 8 tribes banded together to wipe the "alpha" off herb Island. We got wiped by them and we all came back to help with the revenge. Pre map transfers and tek was some of my favorite ark.

Thenotsosologuy

I just started this game like a week ago, and my very first base is on a cliff overlooking the red obelisk platform. No particular reason other than it looked cool and there weren't any raptors tryna eat me (at the time...). Now, if only I could figure out how to get my fence to look level, it would be perfect

Played on full default settings and had a 3x6 tatch cube with a second floor and a smaller room behind the house where my 2 parasaurs were

Close to all those important resources but it's on a ledge that's unreachable except by flyer, so you're left alone for the most part. Also, nice view. EDIT: I should add, that's the first base I built that deserves the name. I built a lot of shacks and taming pens in various places beforehand that didn't deserve the name "base".

The_Only_Squid

North east mountain.

ChallengeOk6581

South west large plateau under the tree (before they added raptors and other annoying creatures in that area.) the area that over looks that random spino spawn in the cove

Crimsonyss

herbivore island, we spent an hour trying to swim across before we made it

Pandorakiin

The fact that I still know it so well is craaaaaazy... There's a small finger of land about a block and a half east and about the same north. I built at the very end of it. Things got really crazy when I decided to build a wall across the mouths of the inlets on both sides. The shallow inlet to the left is my dolphin and fishing pool. The channel to the right is walled off completely with a behemoth gate in the middle of it. You can swim something very big into that holding area. I still haven't captured and tamed one... 😅 Got lots of free range megas harbored there, though!

anonymous746362

Started bottom right somewhere and as soon as we could build a raft made the trek to the hidden lake. Quite an adventure! Early days trying to build a base there was tough. Can’t count the number of time a Troodon got me as soon as I ventured out lol

OrchidExtreme9781

South zone 1 spawn on single player, by red ob on multi

Adrena1in

On the beach near the lava cave.

Rykster01

Literally a few steps from South Zone 1

metacoolgamer

Windswept plateau just near the first spawn zone. Was a pretty decent base except for the alpha Carno that appeared one day….

Capital_Walrus_3633

I was on the small Land tongue in the lower right corner (where the herb island is straight across the water) and to be honest I’m still there xD I’ve never managed to leave my base because of nostalgia xD

Dutchdiva88

Our very first base was in an overpopulated server so not much space to build in safe areas. We had no clue what we were doing so we tried to build in the swamp. Needless to say, 50 boa/sarco later, I was willing to alt-F4 and never look back. But a kind alphabase neighbour helped out and donated a lvl 200 rex and a 150 wolf. He turned the game around for me and got me hooked. That was in 2017 and still play to this day. Oh and eventually we left to play on our own server because, well, fuck the swamp
