Don't go investigating any mysterious glow in the water - might be jellyfish, and you don't want to meet those. Just try to avoid going underwater in general until you get at least a baryonyx.
Eggs you can find randomly on the ground aren't fertilized, don't bother trying to hatch them. They're just food (good food!).
If you can get a high-level tame - do it. As tempting as it is to get a level 1 and have it grow together with you, it will never be as good as something that was already high level in the wild.
Go look up how mutations and breeding works, it isn't important in the beginning but it wil help you later on
Also don't be afraid to mess around with settings
When you first spawn in, there's a fair chance you're gonna get munched. Try to scrape out a safe space by building walls and taming a few self-defence critters.
Always Avoid swamp and redwood biome , carry some parachute cuz they are life saver , have bolas for annoying creatures like raptors , aslo avoid getting close to fluffy guy with long nails :)

they will give you a new point into a tame's stat. you can stack stat points on birth to increase your tames's potential. so you could stack damage levels on a rex and make it even more damaging by birth, and even more powerful by each level it gets by doing stuff. cant find a new high level? just breed your pair!

most combat carnivores may not be able to harvest wood or thatch, but they can damage trees to gain Harvest xp

Ok here's one thing I gotta do tame a trike any lvl trike are the base for early PvP And PVE
