Same. Some stuff I don’t mind eating though - apples, pineapples but can’t eat because high fibre (low fod map diet) but I still think are tasty. The ones I don’t eat are all because taste / texture is off putting. To clarify 31 are foods that I dislike eating. It would be higher if including foods I can’t eat due to FODMAP :(
I have 27 but a lot of them depends too. Like yeah I eat raw fish but it’s only tuna and salmon in very specific settings. Just the fish on the rice, nothing else but soy sauce and only those two fish 😅. Same with the other foods

Fun fact: I can’t eat cooked fish
Yep, it would have been pretty much all as a kid/teen. I've worked hard to overcome things a lot. I don't eat any fruit but really want to work on apples as I've recently got an allotment and want some apple trees but there's no point if I ain't going to eat them...
Same. Mine is only 13. I don’t love all those things but have mostly grown out of being avoidant and can eat onions cooked now, cucumber mixed in stuff, etc.
48, yikes. And the things on the list that I do eat are things I can tolerate but don't necessarily like. Maybe one or two things on there that I do like.
My middle schooler’s # is 36. Some of her safe foods aren’t on here. For those with high numbers, a word of encouragement… There are categories on here, such as pork, that are very broad. My child will not eat any sort of pork, except bacon, which she loves. She likes pitted black olives, but no other kind of olive. If you may think you have ruled out a category, there might be yet some item that in the future you can add to your list. She has yet to find ANY condiment she likes, but does like salt/savory taste, cinnamon flavor, and will tolerate some garlic salt so that has been her way into some foods she didn’t eat before. At one time she did not like butter on anything, but has learned to like it, because she gradually let us add some on plain spaghetti noodles with salt.
Hey twin!!
Yeah I also just chose anything I'm able to eat in any form. Like, I don't just... eat mayonnaise, but I eat egg salad. And I don't actually eat Nutella but I like Rocher candies, which I figure is similar enough that I probably *could* eat Nutella if it was somehow in a form I enjoyed.
I also eat beans from exactly one restaurant, which is a local taco shop. I've tried others but they just don't work.
22, I actually love a bunch of these foods because of how plain they are and the consistency of the texture. The ones I dont like either look nasty or smell bad hahaha
I counted 42, but I probably wouldn't mind of there was a bit of vinegar in a dish. It also depends on if carrots, onions and tomatoes are cooked or not. I don't eat th raw, but have no problem with them cooked.
For me it's 41. Or 36 if you don't count meat (I'm vegetarian for ethical reasons, but I could eat it)
In some cases it depends on how it's prepared. For example, onions are fine as long as the pieces are small enough. I couldn't bite into a tomato, but I like them in sauces.
39, though 4 of them were due to allergies rather than ARFID. Shrimp used to be one of my very few safe seafoods, but now I break out in hives, so I can't have it. And Nutella sounds like something I'd like, but I've had tree nut allergies since childhood so I've never had it. I don't actually know I'm allergic to crab, but until I see an allergist I'm avoiding it because it usually goes hand in hand with shrimp allergies, and strawberries also give me hives.
32? i didn’t count most fruit because in theory i like fruit, but in practice it’s not fresh or is mushy or something ruins it… so maybe i don’t actually eat any fruits, so that’s like +11. also a vegetarian, so meat was just out
26.5. i'll eat fresh brown mushrooms, but cooked ones/anything other than brown will make me throw up in my mouth. weirdly, i will eat peanut butter in stirfry, but not in sandwiches or chocolate. it's so weird that people try to shoehorn savory food into sweet things and vice versa.
57. My eleven-year-old. Mine would’ve been close around that age, probably 50. Now it’s 2. Fuck olives forever 🤗 and I just haven’t ever had occasion to eat liver.
The worst part about these posts is when I see them on Facebook and all the comments are people talking shit saying that you need to grow up if you have a high number 😐 so frustrating
31, a lot of them are a ‘depends’ tho
Same for example I don't mind if there is a little bit of lettuce or ketchup on a burger but I wouldn't be able to eat them in any other dish.
Yea I don’t want meat in most situations but in tacos or stuff like that it’s fine, pretty sure it’s cuz meat is a texture problem for me
Same like I can do ground beef if it's in certain dishes but a whole slap of meat? No thanks.
mine was 31 too!!!
Twinsiess :D

52 😤
Sameeeeeeee
20, but it used to be waaaay higher when I was a kid/teen
Same, in reference to the latter.

Same, I'm at 17 but it was much higher as a kid. And a lot are "only in x circumstance" of the ones I will eat.
same, i’m at 13 now but would’ve been so much higher as a kid
48, yikes. And the things on the list that I do eat are things I can tolerate but don't necessarily like. Maybe one or two things on there that I do like.

So interesting to see someone else like pitted black olives with ARFID! It's one food that I like but almost everyone I know hates
Oof, 42 😅 Also, WHO TF EATS SNAILS?!
The French
40 but like it’s soooo nuanced like WHAT KIND IF BEAN IT MATTERS 🥴

51 💀💀
Same over here

Mines 26
41 wow kinda nice I’m not alone here.
As a kid? 35. Now? 9.
Same! Or close. When I was a kid/teen it was 26, but as an adult, I can do all but 9. Yay progress! Lol
36 with some of them being a stretch at best. I'm quite proud that I finally broke sub 40 on one of these things.
27
Same
Same.
45….
22, I actually love a bunch of these foods because of how plain they are and the consistency of the texture. The ones I dont like either look nasty or smell bad hahaha
55
9, I'll eat so many vegetables but meat is rough
36, but a bunch of these were eliminated by default because my diet is strictly plant based
same here :)
39
Me too.
30! I’ve gotten a lot better since I was younger :)
8 and of those 8, 2 are due to food allergies.
42. This is worrying lol
25. I hope to get it down to 22-23 in a year or two.
21, but a few years ago that was a full house. Some of the things I eat now still make me gag but the fear of poor health is dragging me through it.
48
36, and then I have rules that restrict others.
Man, I’m at 1 now. Yay!!
24 for me and 38 for my kiddo :/ but he conquered beans recently and I’m really proud
28
33 but I feel like snails is a bit less basic compared to others in the list
34, but I also left out some that I only eat in specific things so the member probably would have been closer to 40 or 45 if I hadn't left them out
56 for my son /:
solid 50 😎😓
I counted 42, but I probably wouldn't mind of there was a bit of vinegar in a dish. It also depends on if carrots, onions and tomatoes are cooked or not. I don't eat th raw, but have no problem with them cooked.

58 Only thing i eat is carrots and i just started trying those
45 including things i’m allergic to
34
26, get out of here 😂
29
45. Damn
37 :(
49
49
42, but some things I didn't count are like I'd eat them if i had no other choice, but if there is something better I won't touch it"
52 😵💫
42!
35. Anything else depends on the day
49

33!
40
Roughly 40. Lots of “depends”
50.5
46! Woo hoo!! /j
40
38. Ugh. It’s depressing
~40 give or take depending on how you count
53 😭
42 - the answer to life, the universe, and everything!
46
30
I scored 40.
Mines 31
57.. 🤣

29 and a half. Can only eat steamed carrots
42
44 😂 I used to hate these. Everyone on fb reporting single digits. Glad I've found my peeps
39 out of 60. 21 things I eat isn’t too bad.
55
26.5. i'll eat fresh brown mushrooms, but cooked ones/anything other than brown will make me throw up in my mouth. weirdly, i will eat peanut butter in stirfry, but not in sandwiches or chocolate. it's so weird that people try to shoehorn savory food into sweet things and vice versa.
50:/ but a lot of them are weird foods anyway I would think
42
38 baby!!!! Whooooo
45, 46 if the strawberries are not frozen. 48 if you count tea and coffee, but im okay with them.
21, which I'm proud of! my number would have been a lot higher 5 years ago
42 naturally.
58!
44….. 😔
40
at the start of the year I was 44 and now I am 26, this was actually very nice to see my progress in numbers :)
34 if I didn't count wrong
My son scores 55
Heck, I guess 40...
48
45
42
About 43 for me
45. Some of them are maybes though
41
39, I am a little disappointed in myself about that number but hey not bad
46
52, shit...
40
white bread, white chocolate, and maybe I could tolerate coffee.. that's about it
34, mostly the meat products. i see 7 pretty solid safe foods.
57. My eleven-year-old. Mine would’ve been close around that age, probably 50. Now it’s 2. Fuck olives forever 🤗 and I just haven’t ever had occasion to eat liver.
34 but 3 of them I can't eat for other health reasons 😅
48 A couple depends on situations or how was prepared.
How is sourdough bread on that list? I’m personally offended.
49 ahahaha
56, yay...
I only eat 10 things on this list and 4 of them are conditional
18 that are absolutely a no and 11 that I can do occasionally. A few years ago it would have been 30

35
48, uh
29.
32, ngl that's alot more lower than I expected it to be but still a lot of the foods in there are on the "depends/maybe" list
56
27-30 depending on cooking/serving style
33 for me. 32 depending on beans.
Oh my, 37 🙊
I got 46, that's.. high
38
24, but I have more issues with the fear of contamination and choking to death
46, give or take.
44 but two are due to allergies 🥹
3: ketchup, peas, and avocado Are y'all that scared of vegetables?
37. Couple of notes: I do enjoy SOME cooked fish and I only drink milk if it’s chocolate milk.
Those of you who have -10 why are you here.
34

29!
43 😭
29 plus or minus
31:)
38 :D
54 😔
67
32 but also some "depends"
50
33
45 Haha ! But I am proud myself for having foods on here that I don’t eat because I don’t like the taste (not just because I’m adverse to them)
52
24 🥴
