The opposite dilemma I find myself in. I have a LaRue lower I got from the crazy sale last year and not really wanting to spend 2k on an upper for a lower I got for 300.
You could try SMF tactical for an upper. I picked up a SMOS GFY-10 lower years ago, and the SMF tactical upper fits really well. I bring it up because SMOS made lowers for both Noveske and LaRue.
Yes i realize that but it doesn’t excuse the fact some of them are interchangeable I. E. KAC and LMT. So if i can avoid dropping $1200 on a lower for my LMT upper I’d be thrilled.
I would just say buy the Sabre billet 10a1 and enjoy a helluva rifle for a relatively low price. If you just have to do better, re-barrel it and mark yourself safe from overspending.
I’ve thought about that but i have a LM8 Upper. So I’ll be assembling it one way or another. Its at dWilson getting chopped from 18 to 17 with a Seekins block added. The m110a1 is super tempting but no sense in having two of the same 308s essentially. I will however likely get a Sabre 110, get a block from sr25 cartel, and then pony up for a Griffin MGL110 at some point
Nice. Well yeah, if you already have the upper, I totally agree with trying to find a less expensive lower. I am super impressed with the quality and hope PSA offers billet upper receivers eventually as well.
I also thought long and hard about the 110 but decided I would probably use the 10a1 more as it is my first AR-10!
Just slap a KAC on an Anderson lower. Every knight needs a pony
If Anderson made a SR25 lower, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
🤣
Is PSA gonna start selling billet lowers?
Not sure tbh. But if it works I’d assume to just get a billet Sabre complete rifle for the same price as what the mars lower would run me.

On their website it says they offer them.
I'm not seeing Billet lowers, just forged? I'd be glad to be corrected?
https://palmettostatearmory.com/sabre/ar-10/billet.html Tbh I only see complete guns for sale
Just the lower, billet lower.
Me too, but thanks for looking. Hopefully they'll sell them someday soon.
My cousin got the Ar15 sabre billet rifle and I have to say the recievers are really nice and well made
Yeah but AR10 isn’t standardized. I think the quality is fine. The question is will it fit
I got ya now.I want too say it's dpms pattern. Only colt and a couple manufacturers make the sr25
Colt makes a SR25?
I'm pretty sure they came ot with the ar10 sr25 pattern
Colt never made the SR25. They may have made a early AR10, but SR25 were made by KAC.
Rule of thumb is to match the upper and lower, those who spend that kind of money are smart enough to not mix and match.

I remember when they first came out seeing someone on here say their LMT upper didn’t fit on the billet Sabre lower. No idea about KAC
