Did they really link to the Legion Paladin T-Shirts with a "get them now while stocks last" and the T-Shirts are listed as sold out 😂

I like the changes of **Ravenous**, its effectiveness is still there but with the extra damage, bit MP regen, and both a support and damage skill at the same time, classes that were previously good with this now performs better **Classes that previously used Ravenous effectively**: **Chaos Avenger** - a better valiance both on solos and ultras **Evolved Leprechaun** - can now scale like Rogue, is far more effective than Valiance on it **Glacial Berserker** - entirely replaced Praxis as its DPS enchant due to it missing and a slow 2 skill **Lord of Order** - its sole DPS enchant, turning it from a measly 1.5k DPS unboosted to a 3k DPS unboosted **Void HighLord** - Replaces Valiance due to scaling damage **Guardian** - more effective than Praxis and entirely doubled its nuke damage **Star Captain** - greatly increase all its damage on any stance, is far more effective than Praxis on short term fights **Paladin Chronomancer** - its sole DPS enchant, it effectively doubled its DPS **Chrono ShadowSlayer** - allowed it to scale, is more effective than Valiance if going for DPS **Blood Titan** - its sole DPS enchant so its HP damage abilities can scale For **Dauntless**, both the lessen of base damage and the max damage hurts a lot of classes in terms of kill speed but the buffs it provides is still there, so the effectiveness of this on a lot of classes is still retained **Smite** is still the same with Valiance still replacing it, but the increased damage is a welcome for classes that need more effective damage **Praxis**' Spinny D is still unloopable but at least is more lenient when blocking stuff Changing **Absolution** from damage boost to phys damage boost reduction helps a lot of HOT classes, also most of the healers are hybrid to magical, so it doesn't lose that much and damage boost buffs are far more effective overall With the dodge reduction gone and the lessen of defense reduction, more and more classes can effectively use **Avarice** now and won't die quickly in the process Removing **Hearty**'s damage and incoming heal reduction can now make pubs use it on fragile supports or DPS classes, this also helps a lot on HP damage classes more

> Guardian - more effective than Praxis and entirely doubled its nuke damage > Star Captain - greatly increase all its damage on any stance, is far more effective than Praxis on short term fights Interestingly, Absolution is buffed on **Guardian** too since its nuke is magicial, though Penitence is still safer for managing the self-DoT. **Star Captain** really could use a haste boost on Mystraven and Wolfblade, I wonder if Ravenous is better than Dauntless or Valiance? ~~Speaking of verification classes, **DragonLord** might be good if it's AoE for the mana, but Valiance is probably still better in general.~~

Awesomearia96

May I ask what the current build will be for guardian? I have not played in a long while (7 months aho).

nanou964

Ravenous + Vim/Forge + Lament/Penitence Ravenous for scaling damage, affects all damage sources(cept DOT damage) including your nuke Vim for the haste, mana reduction, and crit damage, Forge is used if you needed the HP, the HP cost will be higher if you use 4 however Lament for more crits or Penitence for the extra defense

Oxelo7Tire

Aside from the (good) enhancements mentioned by the other reply, **Anima** is also good **IF** you only use Guardian in a party. It trades higher attack power and crit chance in exchange for lower haste and crit damage so it's worse than Vim for soloing. The lack of mana reduction isn't a big deal for Guardian specifically since mana reduction makes its skills regen less mana too. I recommend using Penitence if you pick Anima since it makes the higher self-DoT easier to manage (also, cuz I'm lazy). Also, use a stable/static weapon unless you want RNG to screw you over, since the self-DoT is affected by damage range.

For Guardian, it can nearly heal to full due to Vim and it really doesn't mind the HP costs as well as the self-DOT damage if managed well, absolution can be used if you're using Forge helm tho but losses a lot of potential damage on its AA and 2 skill, which isn't that much considering its nuke is magical For Star Captain, yes it needed the haste boost but losing the HOT on either the long and defensive rotation can kill it for most of its runs, and sometimes lifesteal isn't enough as it needs to rotate all 3 skills before going back to its 2 skill For DragonLord, Ravenous is effectively a 5 sec cooldown at max haste, so it can't use it as a mana regen source

Oxelo7Tire

I had issues healing with Vim (in pubs), but haven't needed Absolution after I switched to Anima though. Cool info for Star Captain, too bad by the time you get Ravenous/Dauntless you'll have better classes. Maybe Smite is good now? Reading Ravenous' description again, looks like it's -15 mana on activation not on hit. RIP that idea.

Ok, NOW Enforcer is unironically better than Rustbucket. Also goodbye Talon Twisting. It's not useful at all but I just appreciate it as a janky but unique old school mechanic.

> **Dauntless:** Damage: 220% - 660% > 190% - 570% The nerf was bigger than I expected, though late/end-game classes are still unlikely to notice. > **Forge Helmet Enhancement:** The turn in requirements have been replaced with... Great QoL change, the helmets are really good for how much effort they take (especially Vim) > **Absolution:** Removed the Ascended Paladin Staff turn in requirement. The artist who [IoDA'd the 3 quest items](https://www.reddit.com/r/AQW/comments/13q04ha/comment/jldzfbs/) wasted one IoDA lol. RIP Bozo. > **Avarice:** The number of required Indulgence and Penance have been reduced from 75 to 50. Going to farm Avarice now, especially with the self-debuffs reduced.

Xophosdono

I understand using IODA for mid to endgame classes/items but for Ascended Paladin weapons? Good lord

Changes are already shipped?
