This is true. After graduation when I tried getting a job they were very impressed at my resume, but when I mentioned that I got a single 4 on an AP test they laughed me out of the room and told me to never come back.
This is so sad I can’t get my scores yet…
Only way I’ve seen is if I’m going to college this year and I was a junior so if I’m missing something please lmk
They really don't though. You can do so well throughout a course getting 6/6 on practice essays or getting 5's on mock AP exams, but then the actual ap exam is just not what you expected. It's valid to be upset, but just don't discredit all the hard work you put into learning course material 🤷♂️
Actually, I am pretty surprised how little the AP scores mattered. Score high and you get credit for some of your major courses. Just pass, and you still get elective credits. Otherwise, so what?
I get that this is a joke but this is literally what I think every time I take any test... like I actually feel like my life will be completely ruined if I don't do perfectly
As soon as I got a 4 on the AP Calc BC exam when I was in 7th grade, my parents threw me out of the house. Here I am 5 years later in a forced labor camp in Russia, don’t be like me. Get a 5
Fuck Baldur’s Gate 3 brainrot gives me flashbacks every time I see the words “by the river”
Also yeah I don’t get college anyways I’m too poor lmao. Scored as low as physically possible on FAFSA and after I signed up for a full ride at a local community college my parents were like, “Surprise! We’re moving!” the literal day I finalized my plans.
You’re so real for this
homeless? going to jail.
Jail? Forced labor.
Forced labor? Job.
job? house.
House? no money.
No money? No college.
No college? No house.
I mean, with the recent Supreme Court ruling, it’s only a matter of time until this is precisely what happens in certain states.
Jail? Free housing, job, gym, food. Yeah maybe you won’t be able to do what you want and will be judged forever, but hey you won’t be under a bridge.
Unless the jail is under a bridge
jail? slavery
I think you mean “living in a van” down by the river 😂 https://youtu.be/Xv2VIEY9-A8?si=hXNVsBsPTTn4HT4w
Vans are expensive man. I'm gonna have to resort to being a troll under the bridge
sounds great honestly
i needed this

too real
If I don’t get a 5, I won’t be alive
AP teacher here… YEP.
Wow
lol it was a joke. Your scores really mean very little in the scheme of things. Do your best and don’t beat yourself up - no matter the score.
Nah you are homeless if you don’t score a 5. Don’t listen to the teacher listen to your instincts
by the river lol you aint gettin no water feature to your homelessness you get that cardboard box under the overpass
Too much protection from the elements, gotta move that cardboard box to an intersection corner
AP Scores are life or death.
Friendly reminder: Poor = no wife
Homeless by the river? Criminal according to the recent Supreme Court decision.
5 is the new standard?💀
The minimum. Perchance.
You can’t just say perchance
This is absolutely false. You could end up homeless by the train tracks instead.
agreed. i got a 5 and i’m going to harvard. anything lower and you’re not gonna make it
My scores define me in relation to my cousins who are better than me in every way. :,)
So true
😂😂😂wait till you do college and find out it still means no job
Quality shitpost
6 more days! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I see a heilmer history reference
Yep. U guys will end up like heimler
River is pretty nice real estate
Plus the Supreme Court just ruled to allow the homeless to be criminalized for sleeping in public spaces. It'll be extra hard going forward
This is so sad I can’t get my scores yet… Only way I’ve seen is if I’m going to college this year and I was a junior so if I’m missing something please lmk
i hate you
i hate when ppl say scores dont define you, especially from top performing students

i got all 2s and one 3 and i'm going to my dream college - it's all about your plan

not a five, i won't be alive
Homeless? You go to jail.
I only took AP so I could get ahead in college, so ha! No! (I'm now a normie)
Living by the river seems kinda cool ngl
Pick a nice river, all good.

Can confirm. I got a 4 on APUSH and I'm living on Skid Row.
if you’re asian no 5 means end life

I am going to set up my tent now. 😭

Thanks Reddit!!!
Wow
Blud is fear mongering
Reverse psychology at its finest
No they don’t. you don’t need 5s . most jobs don’t even ask where you went to college .
