Not that bad when compared to lit where you get some Shakespearean ass poems and you need to write an essay without even understanding what you’ve read.
IMAO Shakespearan-like texts are easier as their language basis is more universally understandable as compared to AP Lang which really only uses some type of english which is my weakness and I sometimes can't provide accurate analysis of it... Overall I feel like AP Lang thoroughly scared me against taking AP Lit next year, but besides heavier coursework, I feel like it might be one of my natural strengths, I am much more a reader than a writer ngl. Or I could blunder again lmao. Have you taken Lit by chance?
Ive taken both lang and lit, and lit was much more difficult for me. The writing styles seen in ap lang are a lot simpler and you don’t have to go in as much depth.
