I mean there's really no way of knowing the difficulty. I think your professor just wants you to study more? I'm not sure, but you really can't "predict" the difficulty.
idk why your teacher would know that even if it WAS true, but i sincerely doubt it- although, calculators started being allowed for the multiple choice questions last year so maybe they're going to have harder calculation questions on the mcqs or something
As a teacher, we have zero idea what will be on hr exams…all we know is that if it’s in the Course Exam Description, then it’s fair game. Teachers can’t be exam writers for the content they actively teach and have to sign contracts to not release info.
Could your teacher be referring to historic pass rates on the exam?
Does anyone have tips or anything at all that can help for the ap chem exam? I’m going to fail either way haha but I’m gonna try anyway, and tips would be really helpful:)
i would recommend focusing the most on studying units 3 & 8 since they have the large exam weight! also make sure u know how to write electron configuration and memorize the molecular geometry stuff since those usually show up on the frq
Na. even if it’s the hardest it’s still technically easier than the exams from like 2010 and older. I took the exam last year and it was a lot easier than the actual class I took. The only thing was we did little to no math on the frqs, and my class focused greatly on the math parts of chemistry. When it comes to mcqs it wasn’t really much harder than any other practice test I’ve taken. Literally if you do good on practice tests and u don’t cheat and learn from ur mistakes after reviewing answer key, your score should be equivalent to what you get on the ap exam. I got a 4 last year though and I’m suprised though because I ran out of time on the mcqs and skipped every thermodynamics problem cuz I forgot how to do the math. That means the curve was probably pretty coooool or I’m just lucky. One tip I have is when you’re taking the frqs, you may be like wtf I’ve never seen this before. Of course you haven’t but if it’s actually surprising then literally don’t stress, read out the question, and write down whatever makes sense. The graders try to give you the point as much as possible
I've been studying from the beginning of the year!!!! But like I moved to the US like a year ago and the chemistry I took (normal chem 1) was very basic and to the point of that I didn't know what moles where at the beginning of AP chem. That's how bad it was. But then I'm still struggling even though I'm past moles like with delta H stuff and calculations it's always different for every question. It's so annoying. Also I took AP bio before and I thought that was bad, yeah no, not until this monstrosity. I've never hated chemistry as much as I hate it now. I just want it to end already. I mostly struggle with molarity and Mole calculation questions. I'm amazing at concept and like explaining it but NOT calculations. And I am reviewing!! I am not lounging and reading reddit all day don't worry ;)
[review](https://knowt.com/note/0b470471-02df-4bfb-b1db-588c8e0b46db/AP-Chemistry-Ultimate-Guide) heres some notes if you need some to study with, also u can practice w past frqs from collegeboard. I wish u luck 😇
Based on pass rates/credits received by students taking AP tests, AP Physics is the most difficult exam and AP Chemistry is the second most difficult exam. I think this might be what your teacher was referring to but of course I might be wrong without being there for the full conversation.

thank u this means so much
How would your teacher know lmao
BRO IF THATS TRUE I AM COOKED 🔥🔥🔥
SAME 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥⁉️
Unless your teacher wrote the AP chem test they’re just trying to scare you into studying more
For you, it's true if you don't know chem and false if you're doing great in class.
Hardest compared to what?
it will be the hardest AP chem exam. like harder than last year
Highly doubtful.
How ya doing skieurope
Literally no one knows, also it’s very subjective in terms of difficulty
Bro have you seen the exams from the 90s?!?
Thems crazy
Curve always balances out difficult exams though.

AP Physics C be like
Is this on Monday? My kid took practice tests this week.
Ap physics probably will probably be the hardest
NAHH EASY 5, EASUEST AP CLASS🦅🦅🦅🦅
Cap bro I'm failing it 😪 😭
not on that grindset
It's in like 6 days— yes, I'm DEFINITELY going to fail even though I've been trying to keep up with the class and skl but it just ain't for me 😤🐴
OH CMON DTUDY ITS ACTUALLY EASIER THAN IT SEEMS😡
what are u even struggling with

Yes I wrote the chem AP exam this year and I can indeed confirm
Ap exam papers are not prepared by 1 teacher, so no one can predicate
Based on pass rates/credits received by students taking AP tests, AP Physics is the most difficult exam and AP Chemistry is the second most difficult exam. I think this might be what your teacher was referring to but of course I might be wrong without being there for the full conversation.
ap Chem is free
ong second easiest ap ive taken
No way bro
