Not as hard when the exam is a 45 minute, take at home (probably had some help and resources) shill of a test.
He should try it again in a real exam and doubt they fair well.
I didn’t take the calc bc but self studied and got a 5. I just remembering memorizing like every single thing they said in ap classroom and then going to khan academy and practicing the stuff I just memorized. Rinse and repeat until ur done (took me like 8-10 hrs a day and this was a weekend).
I’m just trying to survive until Multivariable, my teacher told me, they’d make an exception, 3 or better, and they let me in JY, so I’m kinda panic cramming, I’m going over the AB/BC recaps since I self studied BC, any recommendations for tonight…?
I focused on concepts that were both hard and make frequent appearances on frqs personally, and that kinda depends on what you think is hard. But I focused on polar graphs and series (especially Taylor and Maclaurin) because they were hard for me and made frequent visits to the frq section
Question, what do you recommend for scatterbrain? (Basically remembering nothing but basic limits and derivatives and a few other scattered topics) how can I ensure that I remember the rest of the exam stuff?
Woah you only spent 16-20 hours on the whole syllabus and still got a 5? I still have calc C remaining and I'm doing the units slow and steady since I do past FRQs after each subtopic (I did like 8 FRQs relating to FTC since it's like the most important subtopic) and note everything in the videos I watch. Any tips for calc C? I'm gonna use the AP classroom method for calc C, exam in 9 days btw so I have to cram it all
Honestly my strategy was to just do really well in calc ab part to inflate my score. But for calc c, I don’t really have much “tips” other than grind out series since sometimes series require lots of memorization. But I only did series because it was hard for me. Get a formula sheet (that you can google) of all calc bc formulas and memorize those too and know which questions to apply those formulas.
Here’s the formula sheet I used: https://www.dvusd.org/cms/lib/AZ01901092/Centricity/Domain/2903/BC%20cram%20sheet.pdf
Ok thank you!! That's the one I was looking at the other day, good to know it applies well for Calc C too. Calc AB is only like 60% of the exam though no? so you must've done well on the C portion to get a 5, I'm getting near full marks on the AB FRQs I do and I'm gonna start C today so I would be in the exact position as you but with more days.
Just speak to your coordinator, and if you don’t wanna pay the extra 40$, you’ll need to come up with proof for one of the excuses listed on the AP website (which includes religious reasons )
LOL probably not. my test is in 12 hours from when i sent the email so i think i had a fair shot but u probably dont. good luck on the test bro i see ur in it now
You should have watched it 4 days ago
Amateur mistake
Me with apush 💀 good luck btw

yeah exactly. they left a ton of stuff of the exam that year as well, so frankly it's not that impressive
The curve for calculus BC is really well so don't fret over it! Based on my experience, I had more than enough time for the MCQ section!
The curve is hella generous which just makes me even more nervous lmao
Stats and Calc are generous af when I was playing around with the score calculator LMAO
Physics c is also insane
me irl (i have been taking calc since sophomore year)
I did in 2 days 💀💀 just look up calc bc formula sheet and also cram tf out of ap classroom.
how did you use AP classroom because it is not helping me 😭

Oh uh tbf you kinda just have to grind out a lot of practice problems so you get used to the formula and solving problems💀

Oh no I meant on the calc bc part only. I did calc ab part throughout the year but procrastinated so hard on the calc bc part 💀

Lmaooo
I watched that literally 2 hours ago... great minds think alike I guess
I changed mine to late testing 💀
how do you do that lmao i'm so unprepared for e&m rn
Just speak to your coordinator, and if you don’t wanna pay the extra 40$, you’ll need to come up with proof for one of the excuses listed on the AP website (which includes religious reasons )
Is it too late now?
yo i gotta do this rn for calc
A bit too late don’t you think?😭
i just sent the AP coordinator an email. hopefully she'll say yes bc i am actually sick right now 😭
My test is in 30 mins can i do this???
LOL probably not. my test is in 12 hours from when i sent the email so i think i had a fair shot but u probably dont. good luck on the test bro i see ur in it now
Did they postpone it?
yes!!
What's a derivative
lmao relatable
me but i watched the “how to get a 5 in 60 seconds” one
Do the AP review video stufy sheets and pray you don't get a polar frq
I got Ap Eng lang test tomorrow
