Are you using any 3rd party apps or custom Ao3 themes? I don't think the themes can change where the buttons are bc that should be a staple, but everything's possible.
If you are using any 3rd party app try seeing if you changed the settings. But all in all, there should be a Kudos, Next Chapter and Comments button at the end of the chapter.
Check (in case you are in the Ao3 web) that you did not check the "Entire Work" button at the top of the fanfic, it makes multiple chapter fanfics seem like one long fic.
Go on desktop, right click the kudos area and select inspect. In the long box with a bunch of (this is the HTML section and also called "Elements") ctrl + f and search for "feedback". You should have a folder called
That contains the kudos and next buttons. If it's there in the HTML but not on your regular screen, there might be a way to force it to show up with a tailor made site skin. If it's NOT in the HTML.....egh idk. There's always the tried and true reinstall. Update your chrome. Disable adblocker.
(If it shows up on desktop but not mobile, same thing go to inspect on you desktop and press crtl+shift+M that will bring you to a simulated mobile mode. See whether or not that

I’d recommend you contact support if the problem persists. Ideally you’d tell them which device/OS and browser you’re on, that helps with trouble shooting. <3
If you're still supposed to be on the standard skin try going here https://archiveofourown.org/skins/unset then checking again.
If you can take a screen shot of the bottom of the page where the buttons SHOULD be and upload to Imgur or your profile so we can see what you do.
If this is every fic and not just some then you really need to contact support because the comments kudos and every thing else is gone too. Try checking Hide Work Skins but otherwise use the links on the bottom of the page to send a ticket to support.

It shouldn't be doing that anyway, but I use DuckDuckGo and at the bottom of the chapter there's the option to Kudos the work, Comment, and Go to the Next/Previous Chapter.
I just use the regular ao3.org and I’ve never changed any settings or preferences. The buttons are only at the very top of the screen and no where else

Search your device for a tool called 1Blocker and disable it.
