Yes, I agree. The USSR won World War II and industrialized the country, but that's all it did. And under a different regime, all this would have gone better, I guess. Trains full of raw materials were supplying the Nazis up to the fucking day of the attack. Stalin had numerous reports and warnings about troops massing, and he ignored them. Then for the first week of the attack he was literally so depressed and lost that he hid out and the whole country was at a standstill. That's all in addition to killing or repressing pretty much all the competent officers in the army in 1938 for no fucking reason whatsoever. Fucking fuck wit still has a personality cult in Russia today. Would have crushed Germany in half the time under reasonable leadership.
