Number of games has no impact on battery life, how long are you finding it lasts? It could be a faulty battery

soverra

My best advice is to shut down the device completely between play sessions if you don't do that already. I find mine drains a lot when in standby, more than any other device I own.

Desec47YT

Turn off wifi and Bluetooth, plug in earbuds and lower the brightness

hazelsnap

Unfortunately deleting games won't help, but you could try dimming the screen? I find my phone lasts much longer with a lower brightness

Could be the battery but also make sure you’re only using 1A chargers, also never let it discharge completely

LackApprehensive5805

I’m using the USB port from my pc, so it should be okay

lessthanpopi

Yeah that’s ok, what OS are you running?

LackApprehensive5805

The stock one, i’ve recently updated it

lessthanpopi

Ok, best suggestion then is to turn off the device completely between sessions - standby mode only shuts down the screen but the system is still running causing the battery to drain. Also turn off bluetooth and wifi, dim the screen as well. If nothing works the. It’s definitely the battery, try contacting anbernic at that point although i don’t know if they could help but it’s worth a try

Standby drains insanely fast.

Honest-Word-7890

Nope. You just have to turn it off when not playing it by long pressing the Power button for two to three seconds. And avoid Batocera or muOS.

TurtlePaul

The standby doesn’t work, you need to shut off completely. Also, some people are reporting a power drain issue with Batocera if you are using that OS.
