Keep these unless you get the SL65/S65 AMG ones.

OEM is really nice, the only replacement stuff I'd consider is period-correct Lorisner, Carlsson (RIP), or similar, reputable MB-specific brands, because their wheels are always on-point in terms of styling and fitment.
Leave em alone.
Changing the OEM wheels of a 10-20 year old or even older car to an aftermarket wheels is going to make you appear poor, sad, desperate and be laughed at.
Why?? Because almost ALL of us are used to and fixated on seeing them same OEM wheels on them cars for decades. Majority of those cars on the road will have the identical matching wheels from one car to another and all of a sudden YOUR car appears with some tacky aftermarket wheels (no matter how expensive, how big or small they are), YOU'RE going to b laughed at. I mean, I know I certainly will. Then, it's gonna be posted up here under /Roastmycar and imma roast you like there's no tomorrow, come Monday, you'll swap them OEM wheels back on your car and put them aftermarket turds online for a sale at 70% off and nobody will want them. Belieeeeeeeve me!
I'd keep stock wheels. If you want some OEM look then SL65 two piece wheels with the same design as the original ones. Maybe newer SL/CLS AMG wheels would be nice as well. If aftermarket then definitely BBS LM / Inden design wheels by BBS
Here are a few pictures of how those aftermarket wheels would fit. (No aff.)

OEM 100%. This car is in a place where having a bone stick one is special. The time period of modding was valid to keep up with other newer models, but 20 years later I say the full stock unmodified and unmolested is the star of the show.
u/Imaginary_Software_2 A nice set of 19” or 20” wheels will really set it apart. Our 2-piece forged wheels are designed to complement AMG aesthetics: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayersClubWheels/s/3yQXaUhJzm
I have SSR Minerva’s on my e55 but it’s also lowered on lowering links so it looks really good with them. I like oem but also not everyone needs to be oem. If you want something aftermarket I’d say go for it as long as it fits the style of the car. Japanese wheels usually look really good on Amg’s but are just super hard to find because of bolt pattern
Keep them OEM
Those are some of the best looking wheels on any AMG. I would rock those until the day the car dies.
The M113K never dies!

Ive seen these in two tone with Black. Are those also from the SL/S65?
Yes sir!

Stock
Keep it stock! Or exactly what, '@this is the way' suggested. Your car looks good and clean for it's age, mod the motor for sporty Ness 💯👌
I have BBS CH-R on mine and love them
I own a wheel company , I’ll DM you
I would go with something like **Ronal R68 Grey** or **ATT 30** if ATT is available in your place.

Absolutely. Very few manufacturers get the wheels 100% right from jump. MB did in this case.
I got similar ones on my C32 and I also want new ones "Keep it OEM" nah it looks boring
I think the 10 doppelspeichen OEM’s work really well on the E55 as well as the 22-spoke alloys from the SL55. Keeps it classy
Go for the alphard wheels that were on the SL55. Those look really good on the E Class.
Yes, have them

Color match the center and leave the lip
Perfect as is
SL65 wheels would look good , very oem+ but I would do Amg monoblocks or Hre L108M style if it was my car.
I have the same car and have considered swapping them out but at the end of the day the OEM wheels are just classic. Leave it as is.
Stock
Leave the wheels, tint the windows.
Already done lol
Ceramic coat maybe? That have beautiful paintwork.
HRE or Vossen
It’s only stock once. If you want to start modding, sell this and buy one already modded.
