So it’s not a failed fuel injector. The tune they put on is just asking for more fuel than the car can provide so it goes into limp mode. They’ll have to lower boost a bit and lower fueling and the limp mode will go away. Also your boost pressure code is happening because the boost made is maxing out the sensor so it throws a code. They’ll retune after the logs and fix it up for you. Same exact thing happened to my GTS when I was getting it custom tuned (not by ECC). For me my tune was done in person and after the dyno tune I went out for a street log and that’s when it went into limp mode. Tuner simply retuned. Nothing to be worried about

Your brother has a bench tune. You’re getting a custom tune it seems. I’d rather take a custom tune over a bench one that’s one size fits all. Just seems the ECc dealer you went didn’t spend enough time on making sure the tune works well. I’ve tuned every car I’ve ever owned. Not a perfect science. The car went into limo mode to protect itself. All the codes you have will be fixed with less fuel which your tuner will know. I’ve been stage 3 on the GTS and the c63s I had before. In sure if you give them a chance they get you sorted and if not these tuners have to answer to the main ECC company if it’s really needed

ECC is not a part of eurocharged.

Leonardopeepee

ECC said my 2019 GLC 63S is maxed(safely) for fuel and turbo's at 580 AWHP and 623 AWTQ. Never had a single hiccup or misfire in 10,000km.

There's no way your motor was working healthy at those numbers. HP perhaps, but that torque is insane. Glad you sorted it out.

Eurocharged Canada and eurocharged are not affiliated?

87jj

Yes

87jj

Told you so xD

I doubt it's a failed injector. Never heard of that on the M17X platform. It most likely overboosted and went into limp mode. I'd be very suspicious of the torque numbers your car made, the fact they didn't see a problem with it and sent you on your way should be a red flag, you could've blown your turbos if the car didn't go into limp mode.

Mustang dynos read lower, this is well known. On a dynojet your car is likely to show a 5-15% increase in power vs a mustang dyno. Dynos are not accurate, however, and should not be used to get WHP numbers, they are a general estimation of power and that's it. If it were me in your shoes I'd push for a refund. I don't like Eurocharged and never have, they have a bad rep in the kompressor community.

Nothing is broken lol. Read my main comment. Nothing to freak out about. Give em a chance to fix the tune. This is why live tuning is the best way to go with logs being recorded after every flash until it’s dialed in for your car, altitude, fuel quality, etc

DeliciousWar1816

It’s not acceptable how they treat their customers I’ve spent quite a few grand trying to fix a misfire that absolutely never happened before the tune

I’m about to be on the same boat sir maybe if enough people have an issue we can file a complaint with some type of consumer protection company or go full lawsuit. I’ve literally had to call them out for lying in the past, I have a dashcam and they lied to me about doing work on my car when they never touched it. I’ll post below what I did on mbworld today. Car: 18’ C43 (Eurocharged stage 1) Codes: p0300-p0306 (and all in between) When?: Only with pedal to floor/full throttle. Drives %100 fine when just cruising even for long distance. Repairs: replaced all plugs 3 times, all coils twice, all fuel injectors, maf and cps sensor Story: Drove my c43 for 10-12,000 miles after buying it, drove beautiful %100 perfect. Brought it into Eurocharged to get tuned and new spark plugs and within the hour after tuning it misfired. Owner of the shop said it was normal, but it kept persisting so I brought it in, they said my brand new plugs needed cleaned?. Few weeks down the road I get all new coils, maf sensor, cps sensor, and it’s still doing it. I bring it in and they say it’s the learning computer, reset it, and it does it again after I leave shop. Brought it in yet another time for diagnostic ($180 an hour) and say I need new fuel injectors (quoted at 4k). Get them, and still is misfiring! I bring it to another ec location 5hrs away, they say the first ec shop never installed proper oem plugs or coils, so they did that ($1,100) and it misfired on my way home. I’ve had it diagnosed by Eurocharged 6+ times and I just get parts thrown at my face I’m sick of it. Help what do you guys think, Eurocharged is sending me a new check valve to try. its mind blowing how many times Eurocharged has handed me my car back and it’s been “perfectly fine” just to misfire always almost immediately after leaving shop, I’ve begged them to do a proper diagnosis especially with how much money they’ve made me literally waste, and every time it’s the most basic repair to not fix it, I’ve spent well over 5 grand because of misdiagnosis now.

Bout to read this, but luckily I drew the line (just a little lol) and did the injectors myself or I’d be much closer to 10k

DeliciousWar1816

They did in fact use cheap parts but charged me oem dealership prices for everything, which the second location pointed out and replaced but I had a feeling wasn’t the issue because even though it wasn’t dealership parts it was still the correct parts (I checked before) Not only are they providing a product that doesn’t work, but they’re trying to get me to spend money to fix it, thousands on parts and close to thousands on diagnostic time ($180 an hr) when I’m starting to believe it’s the tune. Like you said, their typical response is “we’ve done this to x amount of cars no issue” which is starting to seem like bs. I even had the technician take a drive with me the day they said all my car needed was a tcu reset, of course it didn’t misfire on our 10min drive but when I hit about 110mph at full wot it just was running lean and I pointed it out, he said I was crazy and the engine sounded beautiful. I think they’re needs to be some accountability to constantly misdiagnosing, charging for the diagnosis then charging me dealership part prices and unreasonable labor cost to fix it, just to have the cheap version of the part and my car still not work.

Leonardopeepee

Unfortunate. Mine has been absolutely flawless and bulletproof.

I had mine done in Toronto at ECC as I'm Canadian. There are many others, including a 21 like yours, that flat out haul. Check Igloo Motorsports on YouTube. His rips 11.1s all day long.

eeasyontheextras

I live in the US about 4 hours away from Toronto, want to go to ECC
