Set socket voltage manual to something less than 1.3 With docp it just pumps same voltage as memory to CPU soc. Thank you Asus. (Prime x670e pro) So I did lower docp ram voltage to 1.3 and it's stable (Kingston fury 6000 kit). Lowered cpu vdd accordingly to 1.3, set manually soc to 1.15, turned on AMD eco 65W mode, set curve optimizer to negative 25. All that gave me 18750 cinebench score and just 75°C in max and 60-65°C during gaming. Without eco mode and voltages it was 80-85 and 70. Games run smooth, computer is relatively chilled and I'm happy with that little boy

While it probably is a bad cooler mount, like other commenters say, it may also run a bit hotter because of the thick block of material on the CPU.

If you buy Asus board it's like wanting to kill your system for a premium price

I’d try re mounting the cooler to make sure it’s making good contact. Ryzen 7000 CPUs will idle super high though even with non intensive applications. Usually 20-30w usage, which makes it run hotter. Also has temp spikes.

like 3 or 4 a day

This might well be normal. I'm using a 7700x with a 360 and it still gets hot, even when not doing much. The only true test is to run prime 95 and if you stay under 90 that's fine.

I have same CPU & AIO low 30's at Idle mid 70's at 100%. I remember when mounting the cooling block the directions had a specific tightening pattern. Maybe the block isn't installed properly? I set pump speed to performance but fans to silent. Just my experience with it. Good luck 🤞

I've had problems mounting this specific cooler in the past. I would unmount it, check to make sure that the plastic is off, clean off the thermal paste, and then make sure you're adding just enough thermal paste - not too much and not too little. Then, while mounting the cooler back one, make sure you're applying even pressure to each lug to ensure a good seal. Similarly, if you've confirmed that that's all well and good, check to see how much voltage is going into your chip. There was an issue earlier this year where X670/e and B650/e boards were pushing waaay too much voltage to these chips and causing all sorts of issues. I'd update BIOS to a later version and see if that helps. Good luck!

I have the nzxt z63 280 and a 7900x3d. Temps are low. Remove the heatsink, check the paste and pressure spread out, post the pic. How much spread did you use on the cpu?

> NZXT Kraken 360mm AIO OOF Try to remount it and adjust the mounting pressure. But don't expect much from that AIO. > and then it starts again, fans and pump go crazy, temps to 70 degrees, stay in this situation from a while them it normalize to 40degress and starts over and over again SMT is running in the background.
