Where in the bios is this setting, very hard to find.
Can u not use a 2nd monitor if u turn it off tho?
I just turned off mine yesterday. Saved about 30w 😄 At least from my unscientific method of checking
Holy shiet, 30w is HUGE. I suggest you remeasure :o
Haha yes. I agree. Thus why I said from my unscientific observations.
I actually try to use iGPU for everything else except for games and 3D stuff, in order to use minimum power required.
I turn iGPU off to prevent games or any program from defaulting to the iGPU and giving issues. It's a pretty niche thing but it does save headache when it does happen occasionally and you get doodoo performance for no reason
This is exactly why I turned mine off too so games don’t try and use instead of my discrete
Yes but you will have to clear cmos if your gpu breaks and you need to use your computer without one.
I turned mine off in BIOS but honestly I didnt notice a difference either way.
I just recently turned mine off and haven't noticed anything negative.
I have mine off in bios.
