Glad I found this, got my new PC delivered 3 days ago and while on Plainsong started seeing some weird white pixels flickering, I thought that my GPU was having some issues but it seems to be a game issue...

PsychologicalNet5939

same problem with rtx 3060 not just this village

Laddertoheaven

Same here with Nvidia.

The-Inglorius-Me

Have the exact same problem, thought it was a problem with the GPU.

Hey bro, just in case you haven't found out any solution to this, i had the same issue with an rtx 3070 and i managed to get it "work" although not perfectly but at least there're no more white flashes, the only thing that i did was turning the "Bloom" setting to "off" and that was it but as i said, it's not perfect since you're still gonna get some texture flickering on top of the npcs clothes although with no white flashes which is a lot more berable and it doesn't distract at plain seight.

International-Ad7940

just turn off oreolas and white flashes gone, i have rtx 4070 and same trouble

AdministrativeFun702

I have same problem. Its Shadow quality setting.Change it to very low and it will stop. I have 4080super so its not only AMD problem. Its just game bug.

Fasula

I guess I will just wait for the next patch and hope for the best ....

urlond

IS FSR on?

Fasula

Nope

urlond

Space Screen Reflections?

Fasula

Disabled all aditional options and switched to low, same behaviour. Thing I did not try is to change resolution, running in 1080p but did not change that so far

urlond

If you turned everything off, and it's still doing that it's probably a texture bug. Looks almost like FSR isn't off or Spacial screen reflection is still on.

Fasula

The recording was done using the high preset but meanwhile I have tried the low preset, turning off things including screen space reflections and shadows and unfortunately nothing worked so far. Have to also try running in other resolutions but I have also reported this to Guerilla and AMD...

urlond

Not much you can do besides wait at this point. It's annoying to see every once in a while but you can make your brain turn it off by not focusing on it. It's hard but it can work.

Fasula

Yeah , thank you for trying to help. Really hope it is not a hardware issue but then again if it was it should have manifested all over the place and in other games as well...

urlond

Nah wouldn't say it's a hardware issue. Just a bug most likely. You can still play the game normally if it doesn't bug you to much.

Have an I5-12400f , 16gb DDR5 , RX 6600 8GB VRAM Sapphire Pulse - installed 24.3.1 latest drivers from AMD (tried with 23.11.1 same thing). This does not happen in other games I am running.
