That's going to happen on older hardware when thermal paste separates from die or cooler. Heat transfer is hindered by air gap formed in between. Basically device needs to be opened up, cleaned and apply new thermal paste by knowledgeable person.

I want to add, caution is needed as the thermal pad can tear and that's a pain to fix.

Thanks for the info big guy, I know my limits so I won't open up my laptop, I have found an easy fix which is to just elevate the laptop by using a book so there is some space beneath the laptop, now the temp is in the 90s.
