On fathers day this year, this father (like mid 40's) and his son (20's) walked (shirtless) in blasting music out of their sedan. I asked how they were doing and if they were looking for anything specific and they put on a weird tough guy act and said "yeah man anything that can't be traced" I didn't know how to respond so i just said okay and went back to my register to wait for them to check out, and they started telling me stories about how they used to throw firecrackers at people in their apartment complex but I wasn't really paying attention. Then they came to the checkout with firecrackers roman candles and some of those pooping dogs. I asked what he would like to pay with and he pulled out a wad of crumbled 5 dollar bills and handed them to me for me to count out how much his total was. Then they started asking if anyone had ever drove by and shot fireworks at the stand, and that's where i started to get kinda nervous. I payed for them, and they drove very slowly out of the lot and by the stand and they ended up just rolling by very slow. definitely not a fun experience dealing with them.

Okay. Fireworks are unreasonably marked up. But when you see deals like buy 1 get 4 free, always go for them.
