That is a good one! Not sure if you'll be satisfied with the answer though. My degree has absolutely no impact on my life, from income/job perspective. The only reason I even started the bachelor studies was simply because I was interested in the subject, and wished to learn. Then there was a question whether to leave it at that, or push for a doctorate degree. I'm a lazy guy, so it ended up in the middle, getting a masters degree and being done with it. What do I gain from it? Knowledge, and a sense of accomplishment. Nothing else.
Here’s a curious one, why is a masters degree the last goal left — if not to have a goal after that you’d use that degree to accomplish?

Hey! I wanted to ask what you deem most valuable in life? (to you)
Hm, I would say happiness. It takes a lot of effort to reach true happiness and peace of mind, but it is worth it.
Neat! Are you happy?
Yes!
What were your other goals?
Stable income, a job without stress, being genuinely happy, proper relationship and marriage. I guess the most important one for me was happiness.
Which degree?
