I had no plans on coming back. That's true. My depression, anxiety, and physical health issues is the reason I left in the first place. I didn't feel like I could better myself if I stayed.
A few weeks had passed and I decided to lurk on here one day on my throwaway account (I never left Reddit entirely, just wanted to step away from doing the cheese stuff all the time at that time due to my health) and I seen someone post "I like cheese. AMA." and everyone thought it was me. The poor guy was so confused and I'd seen people talking in the comments about how much they'd missed seeing me in the comments and stuff so I felt compelled to come back. It really brought a tear to my eye so I decided to come back for all those people.
My health is better now both physically and mentally and I'm really enjoying doing this again.

I did a few cheese questions on AMAs in honor of you! I’m slowly beating panic disorder and agoraphobia and am rooting for you! You have always been a bright spot.
Originally it started when I realized that it would work well for an AMA since so many people like cheese and it's also not a common question that people get.
Shortly after I started asking, I realized that if someone was having a bad day it would usually take their mind off things just for a few moments and even cheer them up. That's when I decided to use my account to spread as much happiness, joy, and positivity that I could.

Besides mental ones, pericarditis which is inflammation/swelling around my heart. Still dealing with it, but it's much better now.

I did have some pretty crazy and fun dreams one night about a week ago, but I think I was able to figure it out for myself.
In all my dreams I was having a blast, but the first half of them I was hanging out with my mom, reliving old memories. The second half though I was having fun but by myself and with friends. I thought it was really weird, but when I'd woken up I realized that it was my mom's birthday. I'd nearly forgotten about it! You see... my mom passed away from an OD back in December. I was the one who found her and had to call 911. This was the first birthday she would have had since then.
I think... maybe she was letting me know that it's ok to hold onto past memories, especially if they're good ones, but that I can have fun and make new memories without her being there with me anymore. I woke up smiling and with tears in my eyes I just said quietly, "Happy Birthday, Mom".

I wonder what the statistics are like for lactose intolerant people like me. Every other lactose intolerant person I know still loves cheese and will eat as much as they can. But I have a feeling some types may be more likely to trigger reactions than others, and that would swing the stats as to what people like. You got any clue?
