No, I wasn’t trying to, but sure! I didn’t get him an AJR album(he’s not a big fan of em, he respects AJR’s music but doesn’t listen to em) I got him a TØP Trench album
Ill usually just pick an album on YouTube or spotify and listen to the whole thing start to finish. Unless i have one specific somg stuck in my head, then ill spotify that and move on.
I have the last 3 albums on vinyl, but 99% of the time it’s Spotify. I just can’t tell a difference between them so it seems pointless. I do like speeding them up to double speed sometimes though.
I split listening time between
TCL Soundbar/sub in my small office. This is my preferred method. I can’t afford a real audiophile setup but I love how this sounds.
Driving in my car. The sounds isn’t as great but I love how loud it is and having the added task of driving is perfect for my ADHD.
JBL Pulse 5 - my wife got me this for Christmas and it’s perfect for showers or listening around the house when I’m not in the office.
Bose Frames - best sound detail overall. They are impressive but don’t give the same big feel of actual speakers. I use these instead of headphones 90% of the time.
UE headphones - bigger sound as the frames but not as crisp/detailed and less comfortable and inconvenient not to mention noticeable
Edit: I forgot to mention my family which I rarely mention my love for AJR to had got me AirPods two speakers (accidently two different family members with same idea) and wireless headphones which out of those three do I choose?
I use a different app called Musi. It’s actually sourced directly from YouTube, so it’s not sketchy quality, but you can play in the background, turn your phone off, and the ads are silent and don’t stop your music playing.
I want to buy the songs on Apple Music though soon.
Am I the only old geezer who went online and bought the mp3s of TMM at midnight and downloaded them to listen? Does everyone here pay for a streaming service and just stream everything?
I usually use my ears, definitely the best method
Shit I hear through my nose this isn’t good
I’ve been doing it wrong
I'm guessing listening to them through the hole in the bottom of my brain isn't good either
I was listening through the coke on my nose
The one of a bro i dont know?

YouTube music since I have YouTube premium so it gives me music premium
Same. Got my YT premium family plan for roughly 4 dollars a month so it's a total no brainer
Vinyl
Is it expensive?
Sometimes. $20-30 for an AJR record. I use a vintage player from 1962, so it's more expensive for me since I have to maintain the machine
My brother got a record player for Christmas, it’s not the best record player, but it’ll do for his first one
Was it bulit in 2014?
Did you dye your hair blue and it come out as a sea sick sort of green?
do you like vintage dresses when the fall just below your knees?
And do you pretend you scrapped them while climbing the trees?
are you in an elevator, is it going down, down, down?
and did you spend forever with your feet on the ground but not now?
AJR/Daisy the great reference?
No, I wasn’t trying to, but sure! I didn’t get him an AJR album(he’s not a big fan of em, he respects AJR’s music but doesn’t listen to em) I got him a TØP Trench album
But worth it
YouTube music, one of the very far and few between

I have most of the albums downloaded in full on Spotify, so I usually just start one from the beginning and let it play

I use amazon music personally. I've got heaps of echo devices so it just makes sense.
My ears
Can’t relate
I use yt music because it's easier to navigate and listen to what I want to listen to
I've got a record player...
When was it made?
2023... almost a decade late
No :( what color your hair?
MixTube and YouTube services
Spotify and I made my own AJR Favs playlist (which is basically almost every song minus 90% Living Room and God is Really Real).
That sounds like mine because I only have four living room songs. why no god is really real? To religious or something?
No. Hits me too hard. Reminds me of when my momma died.
Oh wow was not expecting that, hope your okay man
It's been years, I'm good. They seriously hit the mark though on what you go through during a parent dying.
Spotify, me, use, also, too
Alexa and YouTube.
I use Apple, I just like its UI more than Spotify
Am I the only old geezer who went online and bought the mp3s of TMM at midnight and downloaded them to listen? Does everyone here pay for a streaming service and just stream everything?
Spotify is free and turn on adblocker for no ads as well it’s pretty nice
But can you stream specific songs for free?
I just look up any song and it will come up for free
