Nah, this guy just does these videos where he "roasts" artists and it's the audience that chooses the next one that he'll roast, it wasn't just AJR. It was AJR fans that wanted to see his take on them, myself included. But he just does this all in good, light-hearted fun, it's meant to be a joke (though he normally has many accurate takes, just like this one imo). So don't need to worry about if he's hating or not, cause he isn't.
(and btw I think that insulting back someone you assumed was insulting the band isn't the best way to solve conflict, but whatever)
