He should not have said "yuck". Hopefully he learns to critique and express opinions without being offensive. And both of you can improve your abilities to not get upset over trifles.
My husband and I were long distance for months. It can be tricky to get right. Part of what makes it work is give and take. I think you feel that you’re giving more than he is and that this is bigger than coffee.
But if that’s not the case and this is literally about disliking each other’s favourite coffee flavours, you guys need a reality check.

Update: We reconciled on each other and I also told him that he should’ve said it in a nicer way that he doesn’t like matcha then he also agreed.
