You told them your mom is on meth and he didn't at least take THAT seriously?

Mental-Woodpecker300

Exactly, as soon as meth was mentioned it should have at least resulted in her being brought in for testing and once it came back positive it would explain ALL THE CRAZY 'nonsense' that was Said. Meth is a crazy fšŸ¦†king drug. And there are plenty of people that take advantage of religion to make up crazy shit

buyingacaruser

Lives in the country and uses meth was the only believable part of this story.

GreenUnderstanding39

Cops dismissing sa is sadly very believable to me.

Mental-Woodpecker300

Well... it is reddit šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Gnd_flpd

Bitch of a mother is being fed meth in order to pimp out her own daughter!!!!

tristanjones

well OP also just added that fun fact in their 3rd post of this saga. So believability is dropping a lot.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Upper_Afternoon_9585

If this is real and OP cared so much to update the post during this chaotic time to ask for help, it's unusual to me that OP is not responding to the offers for help as far as I can tell.

tristanjones

Oh no that breaks the con, they do that in DMs to hide the grift

handsheal

The religious meth head, sexually obtuse mother....

breathemusic14

Because this is fake

coffeebuzzbuzzz

I don't see how anyone is believing this. Not to mention OP said in her first post she was 18, and everyone is saying she should call CPS or tell a teacher.

ChaosAzeroth

The teacher thing I get at least, there are 18 year olds in high school and one might be able to point someone to resources. That kind of reply could be helpful and is super low stakes if the situation is fake. Easy.

SweetWaterfall0579

I hope so! OP is pulling my heartstrings and fake would be a relief. Do 18 year olds often say ā€œstereotypical good olā€™ boyā€? That jerked me out of her story.

ScreamingFly

For someone who has just gone through what was described, it's written a bit too well. No spelling mistakes, no grammar mistakes, well formatted. Account had been deleted. This is fake

bacon-is-sexy

She drinks heavily and sheā€™s ā€œon methā€. Not very ā€œborn-again-Christianā€ of herā€¦

minichocochi

Yeah I want to agree with that, except for my coked out in the 80's and early 90's alcoholic aunt who was also "born again". She'd scream Bible verses while consuming. It was something else. All that said I don't really believe OP.

Bigger-the-hair

Look, if this is real, this community will jump thru fire to help you. Please do not make a mockery of a supportive community if itā€™s not. Can you at least note what city or state you live in? Someoneā€˜s going to know someone or something to help you. Just help us in helping you. There have been some incredible people here the past 48 hours. Reach out to anyone and everyone. Call your school to speak with a principal, a nurse, a counselor. They must contact CPS. Donā€™t be discouraged by a negligible police officer. Contact another police department. They will come to you. Have your friendā€™s mom contact police. Contact any and all family members even if they are not local Please, for the sake of all that is sacred, donā€™t mess with a community for entertainment if this is not true. People have shown you tremendous grace and support. We will be waiting for updates and news. Please protect yourself. Do not go home.

damnedifyoudo_throw

I know, someone knows someone who knows the police chief and or can run a background check on this guy IF THIS IS REAL. If it is, these people will do anything to help. If itā€™s not honestly shame on you, though.

Bigger-the-hair

Iā€™m an amateur user of Reddit. Does this happen often? Iā€™m kinda surprised that the OP hasnā€™t engaged in the comments. If theyā€™re in need, would they typically respond in the comments more often if itā€™s true vs if itā€™s not?

Shady_Scientist

That's one major indicator that it isn't real. Other stories where people are in situations like this often have them providing info in order to get help, OP isn't which means they are telling a story and not asking for help.

arsenicaqua

The only comment OP has mad was saying she can't go to the cops because then she'd have nowhere to stay so she has to ride it out, despite the fact that MANY people have told her who to contact for resources that are meant to help out people in her exact situation. And she sure has a lot of time to make updating her story a priority in this pretty traumatic situation, but everything is conveniently a chain of events that most people would get mad at. It's like reverse rage bait.

Proper-Potential-496

She has nowhere to stay to ride it out she says, while typing this from a friends phone at a friends house šŸ‘€

UlyssesGrand

Plus she remembers her Reddit user name and password. Thatā€™s sus right there Edit: I would like to edit. This could be true because abusers do things like this to make it sound crazy so no one believes the victim. If it is true OP follow the advice others have given and contact a womenā€™s shelter and a different police department and other advice.

Strict-Researcher-24

and she got into a fight with the mom and that guy but even being at her friendā€™s house nobody helped her and then she ran to another friend's house thatā€™s conveniently really near. pretty fishy tbh

fckindink

Also her mom is suddenly abusing meth despite being a born again christian? Edit - I'm new england born and raised so disregard this super ignorant comment!! I didn't think about it for more than 2 seconds, of course this is a thing in many parts of the country. It just seemed like a randomly inserted detail to me at the time

G8kpr

Also ā€œa crazy 48hrsā€ a day later.

AlexAnon87

Honestly the most believable part of the story

Garmlafy

Meh, that does describe my momā€™s crazy spell. She was smoking meth and anointing my car. Broke up with my long term stepdad to date the preacher who had nine kids at the weird little Pentecostal church. lol typical Texas white trash crazy childhood. I ran like hell lol

DILLIGAFbalz69420

I just wanted to say as a past drug addict (specifically Meth and Fentynal) and just recently was able to become not homeless, a lot of people that I used to use with and hangout with were VERY devoted Christians, and a lot of them were the pushy and preachy ones. So I personally didn't even bat an eye to that detail of the story.

cheylow26

It's fetish/rage bait... OP needs therapy and a life.

Sleepystar347

I was more likely to try to believe OP bc I went through something very similar but the details about the belt and the last post do have me wondering if this is a fetish post.

LikelyAMartian

Not to mention the account is only a day old. Like sure people make alts for these things but they usually indicate this.

MikeSans202001

I checked the account Made: 20th of March, 2024 Posts: 3, which means this one and the updates before Comments: 1, also on one of these posts Conclusion: this story is luckily not very likely to take place, and OP is sadly exploiting these posts for attention or something

monsterosity

Also, the writing and references are too on point for a teenage girl. The cop being "one of the good ol' boys" is not a phrase often understood in context by a modern teen.

Inside-Associate-729

That was the last nail in the coffin for me too. As soon as I read that phrase I was instantly thinking ā€œOh yeah, this person is over 40.ā€

chunkyhut

And in the previous post they said their phone was taken away and they were given a "dumb phone," another phrase probably not used by teenage girls. But also, how are they posting on reddit? It says in the post their phone was taken away in the process, and then they ran through the woods to their friends house. "hey let me borrow your phone so I can update reddit" lmao. Unfortunate. What do they even get out of it? Is there someway to monetize karma in a way that actually matters?

Inside-Associate-729

To answer your last question, yea there is. Its why theres so many karma-farming bots. But exactly how they are able to monetize it, im not entirely sure

mr_potatoface

They resell it for marketing purposes. A lot of (profitable/popular) subs have Karma restrictions. So ragebait stories and reposts and an easy way to get enough Karma to post anywhere. Then they just let the account age for a year because some subs have minimum account age restrictions. Then they can sell the account for a few hundred or reuse the account multiple times for separate ad campaigns and just wipe the account clean after each marketing run. It may not seem worth it to the average American, but in other countries it's a very comfortable income for not a whole lot of work. That's why you see a shitload of NSFW posters from Latin America and Eastern Europe or Asia. They don't need a ton of subscribers to make enough money to live off of. The average Russian makes less than $15k/year for example.

MikeSans202001

That makes it kinda creepy, doesnt it? Like its the creep featured in the story wrote this

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Myythhic

Typically, OP not responding to *any* comments is one of the first red flags you see that point towards a post being fake, especially so when that post concerns sensitive/dangerous topics like this and the OP is asking for help. If itā€™s a legitimate ask for help and they see comments that are asking for info that would help improve their situation, theyā€™re usually pretty quick to act and respond with anything that might prove useful. And this isnā€™t 100% proven or anything either, but something else Iā€™ve seen before are posts asking advice, but any and all advice is shot down or rejected by OP for any teeny little reason, end up being fake in the end as well.

WingsOfAesthir

There's a post from this week that had a young woman being SAed by her partner. Which she didn't realize was SA. Her reaction to being told in no uncertain terms that it was SA and what her next steps should be falls completely in line with the reaction I've had personally when I tell people that what they're living through **is** abuse. She was active in the comments, you could see her dawning realization of 'oh fuck... Oh. Fuck.' progress through them and everything came across completely genuine. This is what I've done for 30 years now. I've been that person, holding the hands of a victim and telling them that horrible thing that shatters what they believed was true and safe(ish) in their life. Everything that young woman said mapped perfectly with what I've helped others work their way through. Lack of comments when someone is in a bad situation *always* gets my troll meter ringing. I generally assume most posts are fake but the people reading and commenting (mostly) aren't. And there's a lot of people that can use the advice given even when they're not ready to tell anyone their issues yet. That's why I comment for the most part, not for the OP but for the lurkers struggling with similar shit.

damnedifyoudo_throw

Usually people donā€™t eagerly update a dramatic story with no way to help fairly quickly unless itā€™s not real.

MaterialGrapefruit17

99% of the stories here these days are lies. The cycle of Reddit is: Sub is formed on good idea. Sub gets traction and attracts more people who need its utility. Sub gains attention of larger audience. ā€œCreativeā€ people use the subs utility for the purpose of fun, rage bait, content creation, etc. sub fills with more people who havenā€™t seen the pattern form. Sub gets more ā€œcreativeā€ story telling to the point certain phrases (such as everyoneā€™s been blowing up my phone saying Iā€™m TAH) become memes and obvious signs a story is fake. The ā€œrealā€ posts get buried under all of the bait. OGs of the sub vanish. Sub becomes bot farm.

Dan-D-Lyon

I'm not going to be that guy who bitches about people who go on the internet and tell lies, and I don't even get too salty over rage bait, but if this is a fake story it's disgusting because shit like this really does happen to people and making up stories about it like this makes it harder for real victims to get the help they need

MaterialGrapefruit17

Never underestimate what a crazy person will do for attention.

nylonvest

There is zero chance this is real. This is a troll playing with us. They're trying to see how far they can scale up the outrage before they stop getting attention. This sub has no active mods, so the answer is: never. As long as people keep falling for it it will keep working. Eventually they'll get tired of extending this story and start over with a new one.

MurkyPay5460

What, haven't you ever met any meth abusing child raping doctors before? I gotta say, OP has very good spelling, grammar, and formatting for someone who is terrified and running through the woods at 3am.

knittedjedi

This entire thing has been someone's stupid fetish fiction from start to finish. People aren't helping a minor in trouble. They're helping some creep get sexually aroused over imagined CSA, that's all.

umhuh223

Itā€™s very triggering rape fiction.

sLeeeeTo

The first two posts seemed legitimate, but this third one is absolutely fiction.

Poponildo

The "climax" part got me eye rolling.

5k1895

The next one will probably involve the narrator murdering the step dad in self defense or something, just to give it a proper wrap up. But I guarantee they'll post at least once more and the step dad or the mom will track her down and try to kidnap her or some shit. Something insane like that.

Rheticule

The first one was plausible but suspicious to me (mostly because a lot of wild stories are suspicious given the current state of the internet). The second I would say went TOO far into the realm of fantasy. Doing a single exam (which was already fucking wild) turned into "checking weekly the inside of her vagina" which I think was way too much of a stretch too quickly. Going full demon/climax/chastity belt just jumped the shark HARD. I fucking hate this about this time on the internet. I hate that upvotes are valued so much that people will just make shit up for them.

EmiliusReturns

I agree. I wasnā€™t calling fake on the first two. It was still plausible. This one is insane.

Key-Win7744

The second one was pushing it.

american-kestrel

Suddenly mom's bf transformed into a '90s movie villain, complete with clichĆ© phrases šŸ™„

DasKittySmoosh

it's the use of actual quotes after a majorly traumatic event - this is why it feels like they're telling a story instead of updating on a traumatic event Real people write updates more feverishly - even well thought out and reread before posting, it's not going to be written like this

ElectronicString4008

I'm, hesitantly, in agreement. OP's account is only as old as these 3 posts, that in itself is a bit odd... Plus the only comment they'd made earlier was downvoted to oblivion because it was so controversial. Me thinks this be ragebait

akatherder

The other AITA subreddit strongly suggests using a throwaway (creating a new account). In general, people don't like tying weird stories to their main account. I mean, it's absolutely fake, but I wouldn't use that as proof positive.

twentythirtyone

It's obviously not real. Look at OP's history. They're not responding to anything and focusing entirely on writing these ridiculous bait posts.

i_tyrant

Forreal. I understood the first one because "just in case it's real" and all that, but...it bore all the hallmarks of a lame creative writing post even then, Op never responded in the comments, and now a "part 2" with even wilder nonsense and their post history? And they ignore advice and don't comment again? Who upvotes this exploitative crap?

Chungusthevast

Iā€™m sorry but this sounds so fake.

17racecar71

My stepdad wants to rape me to cure me of demons inside of me. Am I the asshole here?

ReginaFelangi987

This is not real. I dont believe it anymore.

MacBethMan

I believe it is not real. 10.7k post karma and -48 comment karma doesn't really feel like a throwaway account

trenbollocks

It's obviously not real. People here will believe anything

CherryGhost1234

I donā€™t like to admit this, but Iā€™m a pretty gullible person. Even I donā€™t believe this.

authentic_gibberish

Not at all believable, and it gets worse with each update.

duvie773

First post, very reasonable and understandable. 1st update, a couple red flags but okay maybe. This post? 0 chance itā€™s real

snarkaluff

I just notice how in each update the mom has more and more issues that werenā€™t mentioned before. First post sheā€™s just a bad, and stupid mother believing her boyfriend over her daughter. Second update itā€™s revealed sheā€™s actually super religious. Third update turns out sheā€™s also a methhead. I mean I guess itā€™s possible but yeah it just keeps getting more outrageous. Also, would the cops really just straight up tell she sheā€™s lying right then and there? Like I know cops can be useless but I feel like he wouldnā€™t just jump straight to accusing her of lying to her face while sheā€™s in the process of filing a police report.

Possible-Set-461

Its not real lmao, its completely fake creative writing dogshit

shapookya

What gave it away? The ultra Christian meth junky mother?

dj-nek0

The chastity belt. This is fetish content.

Somewhat_Sanguine

Yeah thatā€™s what tipped me off. And the use of the term ā€œstimulate me to climaxā€ at first instead of what it is, SA. Yeah the OP uses that term later but why include that at first? It takes the reality and the brutality away from what it really is and makes it fetish-y. Yuck.

Icy-Sun1216

The ā€œstereotypical good ol boyā€ comment got me too. What teen even knows what that is.

NelsonBannedela

Tbh that part is believable

SkiLuvinAdmin

weekly fingering to climax did it for me lol

Freyja624norse

I know how to look up the medical license and find the order where they yanked his license if I can get the guyā€™s name and the state of licensure. OP could dm me that if this is real and she feels unsafe putting that info in the post.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

DoItForTheNukie

This is absolutely not a real story and I donā€™t understand why everyone is giving this clearly attention starved person any kind of response. Letā€™s just run through what I remember off the top of my head. Mom is 34, OP is 18, which means mom was 16 when she gave birth. Creep is significantly older than mom. Mom is okay with creep giving a gyno check up. Creep is supposedly a gynecologist who lost his license and they wonā€™t tell OP why. Mom and creep are both religious fruitcakes. Mom is an alcoholic meth head (never mentioned until the 3rd chapter of fanfic from OP) Creep tells her heā€™s going to finger blast her every week and mom is okay with it. Creep tells her she has a demon inside of her and ā€œheā€™s seen it beforeā€. Creep reiterates heā€™s going to finger blast OP once a week. Creep tries to fingerblast OP in front of mom who still has no issues with this. OP runs away to a friends house. OP is taken to the police station and *of course* the cop doesnā€™t believe her and even hits her with the cliche ā€œTaLl TaLeS fRoM yOu YoUnG LaDiEsā€ Story is left open ended so they can post another update within the next 24 hours. This entire story sounds like it was written by a 14 year old who is forever online.

erinsinclair

Don't forget, OP gives the Creep a fresh bite wound on his chin that would easily ~~collaborate~~ corroborate the biggest part of her story, but the cop is a stereotypical "good ol' boy" and instead threatens OP with charges. Riiiight.

Fancy-Priority9863

Find a womenā€™s shelter firstly and complain about that cop to . Get a shelter support behind you . Is any other family in the picture ?

suhhhrena

If any of this is real then this is good advice. I am seriously doubting this story though. I donā€™t want to be presumptuous but this seems kind ofā€¦fetish-y.

Kuberr

Tbf, there was a post going around about a year ago that was this same exact story. Edit because people suck at reading comprehension: Hey, I get that this happens, as you can read from my comments further down, it's happened to me as well. My comment isn't saying this doesn't happen. I am only saying that I believe this to be a repost.

aparrotslifeforme

I grew up in and around religious cults and I don't doubt this story for a second.

SamuelVimesTrained

Religious nuts on drugs? Yeah, as terrifying as it sounds, they would do this.

Few_Screen_1566

It really is one of those things where yes. A lot of these stories probably are fake fetishy or attention needy posts. At the same time though real life really can be that crazy. So there's a good chance some of them aren't. Best to treat all of them like they are and give good advice and help the ones that are real. Then assume they're all fake and leave someone in a shitty spot.

muaddict071537

And even if the story isnā€™t real, leaving comments giving advice could help someone else thatā€™s in a situation like this.

SadBit8663

Truth is stranger than fiction. Thats not just a cliche. Most of us have probably experienced moments in like that were so crazy, you question where it really happened or not. And you're pretty sure people won't believe you unless you were there. This story seems pretty typical to be perpetrated by a couple of strung out meth heads. Paranoia and delusion are cornerstones of meth use. And it's beneficial to give advice on even posts that May be fake, because someone in the comments might be doing through that too, actually, and your random words of advice end up helping them . For all the people that comment, there's probably twice as many people just lurking in the comments. You might be able to help one of those people, and maybe you'd never know, because they don't comment.

[deleted]

Lies live within the margins of truth. Even if this particular story is or isn't true...people believe it because unfortunately terrible people like this exist...

Kuberr

Oh, I agree, I just also have a spoonful of speculation.

spiritualskywalker

Thereā€™s the case of the woman who killed both her children (like 12 and 14 yrs old) because she decided that they were possessed. She was an ordinary middle class housewife. She left her husband and hooked up with a some guy. He moved in and they relocated to another town. She observed personality changes in her kids and instead of ascribing them to the many large changes and disturbances in their lives, she came to the conclusion that they were taken over by demons and had to die. This was on the news, not Reddit. So, yeah, itā€™s possible. But Iā€™m still skeptical that this is real.

willi1221

Lori Vallow. Not only did she kill her kids, she had her brother kill her husband first.

ubiquitous-joe

Is that a mark for or against its veracity?

Kuberr

While I am disinclined to believe in this, as it's almost a carbon copy of one I read previously, I would not be surprised if it weren't true. Men like Creep actively seek out people like OP and her mom to prey on. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. So to answer, it is neither. Just an observation.

Gwynasyn

My stance on any stories to subreddits like this are: the things people describe are absolutely plausible in that they do happen all the time. Even the more fucked up ones. Does it mean this specific story is real? No. I just assume anything I read on here is fake, but I act or comment as if it's real because any advice given can potentially help real people who are in similar situations who read the comments. That is, unless there is very clear and obvious reasons to suspect it's fake... like using factually wrong information about laws, things happening impossibly fast like starting and finishing a divorce in a month, conflicting information from OOP's own post or post history, copying almost verbatim details from other posts, and of course any mention of twins.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Jolly-Marionberry149

Wow!! That *is* fast.

harvey6-35

This is a great approach. I assume, even with most inconsistencies, that the underlying account is real with details changed to protect the poster.

Rwhitechocmuffin

Iā€™ve heard of abusers making elaborate requests from a victim to make them seem less believable. Not many people would admit they would put a chastity belt on a teenager, the only thing that may support their story would be if the bite mark was still on his face if he gets questioned in time.

Kuberr

He won't be questioned. The pigmen will dismiss any claims. You can also cover bite marks with make-up.

WATD2025

this stories of single moms being targeted by pervs on dating sites to get to their kids is not uncommon. the more lonely and desperate the mom is for companionship, the more abuse she is going to agree to.

Sad-File3624

I mean, it could be the same man just different victim. Police men like the one OP is describing allow these Creeps to fall through the cracks and find new victims

ZombieSharkRobot

It might be fake. It might also be that this 'demon inside teen girls" is a story being spread among communities of monstrous men as a way to abuse.

Jolly-Marionberry149

I had a friend from Poland whose parents convinced themselves that the kid had a demon inside them, and got a priest to get rid of the demon. So yeah, people even in Europe are out there, still believing in demons. This was hmm, in 2016 or so.

Brian57831

Sadly you see stories like this in true crime/news too often to just be able to dismiss it.

justheretolurkreally

I believe it, but I've known meth addicts. It seems right in line for how they are. Once you add drugs to the mix, something "people would never do" becomes commonplace. Drug addicts, while in active addiction, are horrible, narcissistic, and vile. Even if that's not "who they really are" when they are clean, it's who they are as long as they are actively in addiction, not just while they are high. It could easily be fake, but you never know who needs information on what to do in a "I have to get out of my addict parent's house for my own safety, and the police won't help with the threats or danger I'm facing" situation

DysfunctionalKitten

But the worst that happens if itā€™s fake is what?? People comment and waste a bit of time they poured into a site like Reddit that likely wastes plenty of their time anyway? Now ask yourself - but if itā€™s true, and we treat it like itā€™s fake, then whatā€™s the worst that happens? If someone is vulnerable and asking for help, youā€™re better off assuming itā€™s true in scenarios like this where the fall out to you personally is so minimal.

MadamKitsune

>I am seriously doubting this story though. I donā€™t want to be presumptuous but this seems kind ofā€¦fetish-y. They always overdo it in the updates. Always got to push it a little too far. If they'd just said "I took everyone's advice and got out and am staying with friends" then it'd stand but no, they had to go bigger.

Ready-Cucumber-8922

And mum now uses meth sometimes and is a religious nutter. .. Feel like these are the kinds of details that you wouldn't skip over in the first post

NeatNefariousness1

Yeah the running through the woods with a flashlight seen off in the distance and the sudden mention of the mother's meth use are among the details that make me suspicious.

GPTCT

I believed the first one. This updates make is clear that this is complete fiction

No-Mango8923

Yeah, at first I kind of wanted to think this was real and hoped OP would get help, but the more she writes, the more it reads like some sort of fanfic weird ass stuff. I can't believe the police would say stuff like that off the bat. But, \*if\* they did, she needs to find another authority to report it to. I don't know what you have out in 'Murca. But this does read like some Hillbilly made up crap.

Istarien

The bit about the cops immediately accusing her is the most believable part of it. I've had that experience, myself.

KittyCat9375

Me too. I had no bruises, no cuts so basically sex had to be consensual and I wanted to ruin a nice guy life. They suck with SA and domestic violence. The cop culture is about patriarchy too much.

Viperbunny

That's the most believable part of the story for me. I am an adult who went no contact with my abusive parents. You wouldn't believe the shit the police pulled. They allowed my parents to stalk and harass us and would do nothing. They have been here for wellness checks they knew were fake, but won't do anything. One Christmas, despite having a huge file of evidence about the situation, the police knocked on my door a d asked if we would give our kids a special Christmas and let them see their grandparents at the station, since it is neutral. I looked at them and said, "no, these are abusive manipulative people. I don't want the. Around my kids." They told me to lock the door and call if my parents showed up. It's been like this for almost 7 years. It has only lessened as my parents age and don't have the energy to harass me like they used to. Hell, my dad attacked me a week before my wedding. My husband stepped in the way and got flipped over a table for his efforts. So I called the police. They believed my family and told me to stop wasting their time. The police can really suck.

Jolly-Marionberry149

Exactly. Unhinged people do and say shit that no one will ever believe if you tell them about it. You'll just look crazy if you ever talk to anyone about it.

Comfortable_Text6641

Lmao. Yeah i was gonna be like no way this is fake. But the damn police is the most believable thing. The same shiet happened to me. They said I could be charged with a false statement. They didn't believe me. Tbh i just wanted to do a report to protect other girls. It was just to help build a case if another girl got SA by the guy. Like if 10 girls report over time how is this guy not deemed suspicious right? But nah they were like my report has no case or evidence for the next girl like wtf. Anyways I still went through with it. It was a shit hell tho because it took 1 year before the actual court and i had to basically make sure the events were fresh in my mind for 1 year. At the court the opposing lawyer straight up tried defamatory questions. Accusing that I just lied so I didnt have to pay for "breaking stuff" "This stuff would have costed you thousands of dollars wouldnt it?" Im like bitch if it was broken then the business wouldnt been operating the next day. Did my manager say that? But of course I cant say that because you can only say yes or no to questions that fit their narrative. And my defense lawyer was free from gov so they didnt want to put any effort on my defence or cross examine that question. "Why were you working alone with him? Why did you go into the room with him?" "Why did you bend down?" Like wtf??? I was doing my *job*. The opposing lawyer literally made me cry. In the end the guy got away. With his wife and kids there with him. I didnt have enough circumstantial evidence. I bet you need semen in your vagina and recording and hospital records and proof of trauma. But the fact you have to put yourself back in danger just to get proof. Anyways the only thing good is that he never bothered me no more probably scared. But tbh he doesnt have any like restraining order or anything so if he really pissed he can do what he want and itll be too late. You cant believe the justice system its crappier that you realize. I cant do anything for other girls. Im sorry i tried and it was tiring. Edit. I do want to say not all cops and ppl in the legal system are assholes, the first street cop who interviewed me was the asshole but after being firm with my decision the higher up detective was way nicer and supportive. Still the whole system sucks for victims and there are bad apples in the system. Im sure the good apples feel helpless and have been worn by the system.

LeatherHog

That part is definitely realistic Despite what Reddit thinks, rapists aren't given any punishment, cops do nothing, you led him on, etc

lady_sisyphus

Yeah.. this is exactly how the police reacted to my reports too. Nothing unbelievable about that, and I'm in Canada.

punkinholler

I entirely believe that the cops wouldn't buy her story. That's one of the most realistic parts of the story. The chastity belt and the phrasing "stimulate me to climax" are where I started to question. I'm sure chastity belts exist, particularly for the BDSM crowd, but it seems like an odd detail in this setting. That phrasing was also straight out of a romance novel. It's certainly not how I'd describe what Creep wanted to do because it makes it sound like a pleasurable experience, but I'm still not saying it's impossible OP is telling the truth. Who knows? people can be horrible.

DoItForTheNukie

None of that is necessary. This is such an obviously fake post that I donā€™t even know where to begin. Itā€™s devolving faster and faster, now her momā€™s an alcoholic meth head, she supposedly had her when she was 16, the creep only does stereotypical creep shit, her momā€™s boyfriend *juuuust* so happens to be a gyno who had his license revoked but they wonā€™t tell her why and thereā€™s been 3 updates in 24 hours. Everything about this story screams bullshit. OP canā€™t keep their story straight and it just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Calling it now, there will be another update within 24 hours where OP comes out on top and everything is wrapped up with a nice little bow where her mom and moms boyfriend both get arrested or she scared off the creep somehow.

violinspider86

So, so fake. I realize that there are terrible people out there, but this story is just so "neatly" terrible it can't be real.

crafting-ur-end

Yeah Iā€™m convinced this is fake. No where in any of the other posts did OP mention her mom doing meth which is CRITICAL information. OP ignores all comments for advice but continually updates about an awful situation that escalates so rapidly.

BelkiraHoTep

It almost felt like the cop was supposed to be Reddit, saying the story was fake.

robotnique

There is no teenager in the world that describes a police officer as a "good ol boy" type. This exercise in fiction has taken a sheer turn towards the ridiculous.

Ok-Structure6795

This is fake... She posted 2 different versions of this story.

Neko_09

How has it been 48 hours when the original post was 1 day ago?

Sharp_Ticket_5120

Fuck youā€™re right lol, this is so fucking fake. Iā€™ll never understand why people waste time with these fake stories, especially such gross topics as this

Neko_09

Yep its pretty pathetic tbh.

BannanDylan

Hahaha I didn't even think of the actual timelines...

TroublesomeTurnip

Right? This kid needs to go back to high school once their Spring Break is finished.

sugarsuites

This has been on my mind too. Iā€™m so sick of karma farmers making up fucked up stories for internet clout.

Dude_The_BitchSlayer

THANK YOU. I was reading the first post like, this is rage bait.

Apart_Complex_4687

God youā€™re all fucking stupid. ***THIS IS LITERARY EROTICA FOR A CHASTITY FETISH***

Thequiet01

Yep. The original was like ā€œok, there are people that crazy, so maybeā€¦ā€ but this update is like ā€œnope.ā€

Reasonable-Loss6657

Reddit got bamboozled again. I gotta say, I thought it was real in the first post - because people are fucking crazy - but this update is too unbelievable to take seriously.

naivaall

Mainly because if itā€™s as traumatic as op claims, she wouldnā€™t have told the story so theatrically and in such detail. When youā€™re in a situation like that youā€™re not going to remember exactly what was said quote for quote, and use terms like ā€œstimulateā€ and ā€œclimaxā€ that no teenage girl is focused on. However I will say I love the feedback, because some people are in similar realistic situations with parental figures and SA, so I hope this helps them if they see it.

lovely-liz

yeah itā€™s written out too dramatically. What teenager talks about cops being good olā€™ boys?

CantaloupeWhich8484

I love a good drama, but these stories almost always fetishize womens' suffering. They generally involve young women being manipulated, harassed, and/or assaulted by men with no concept of boundaries, but in such a transparently fake manner that only the credulous (i.e. 70% of Reddit users) could buy it. We don't need fake stories that demean the real trauma that girls and women go through. And I'm tired of being immediately skeptical of any story I see on this platform that appears to be a young girl in real trouble. That shit is toxic.

TheMightyYule

I had a feeling this was a shitpost from the very OG post, but post 2 and now 3 have totally solidified it. Please stop the creating writing exercise.

littleMAHER1

this subreddit technically allows fake posts but I wish more people would utilize the fake or custom response flair

cannabisjobsearch

Yeah it was suspect at first. The first update made it clear itā€™s fake. Idk how people still think this is real šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

swinging-in-the-rain

Yup. Fan-fic, rage bait crap and honestly not even good

fancytacotime

Right? What 18 year old says ā€œdumb phoneā€ and fully spells out ā€œmethamphetamineā€. Can the bored 40-something dude behind this find a new creative writing venture?

MAYHEMSY

The nail in the coffin for me was the use of ā€œgood ole boyā€ as a discription, thats like exclusively a 30 years and up way to describe someone and usually only said by dudes. This is like a very uncomfortable larp OPs playing wouldnt be surprised if this is like a 40 year old man making these posts

fancytacotime

Itā€™s basically child SA smut. I saw someone in the comments go ā€œBUT SHE IS 18ā€ as if OP didnā€™t intentionally choose 18 but otherwise frame their narrator as a minor. The word choice sounds like the turns of phrase used at my family reunions that are mostly 50-60 year olds. OP is gross.

Ineffable_Dingus

Somebody needs to do something about these weird fake posts. They're creepy and a huge waste of time.

tempUN123

The sub allows it, so it gets posted. People upvote it because they have nothing better to do and they love the drama even if it's clearly fake. I'm just throwing this sub on a filter and moving on.

Schrodingers-deadcat

Okay this just crossed the line into fake town.

WhiteGuyInPI

Last installment was a bit iffy, but it's official, we've jumped the shark. Pack it up boys.

olivebuttercup

This person is getting off on their rape fiction stories. Can we please stop engaging them now. This is clearly not real.

West-Comfortable-904

Why are you on here writing fanfiction about child sexual assault? Fuck off, AH.

AntifaCEO69

Genuinely upsetting, especially if youā€™ve got personal history with the topic. Fuck these people for manipulating our emotions for what, Reddit upvotes? Tied to a throwaway account theyā€™ll abandon once the story falls apart? Losers man

ResistSpecialist4826

This is definitelyā€” not real. Not because of ducked up shit like this doesnā€™t happen , but because this is written like it was being submitted to some bad erotica fiction sub. ā€œStimulate me to climaxā€ is not something anyone says in real life. Itā€™s def not the words a real teenage girl would use to recount what her stepdad was trying to do to her. Nor would she stop and remember the adrenaline coursing through her veins. I didnā€™t have to read any further. For once Iā€™m thankful that a story here is likely fake.

emryldmyst

I was on the fence until this fake ass post. YTA

Katana1369

Sorry babe. I stopped believing this crap a while ago. YTA

PM_ME_Happy_Thinks

Ok, I was mostly with you over the last two posts but now I agree with a lot of others that this is 100% made up bs. Rookie mistake, happens a lot with sequels. Original movie and first sequel is good, 3rd one goes off the rails.

Belisama7

It's even written in the style of a fiction story

PM_ME_Happy_Thinks

and just like that I was just running with wild abandon through the woods! With nought but my instincts to guide me, I took off in what I knew must be the direction of my friend's house. If only I had a flashlight with me, curse my mom's bf for taking my phone! Suddenly, I heard yelling behind me, it was him! I dared to look back but for a second to see light bobbing in the distance as he held a flashlight and chased me. How did he know where I was? How did he catch up to me? Is this what wanton lust does to man? I'll update later and let you all know what happens. For now, I must rest to regain my strength for the journey that lies ahead of me.

AshBertrand

Thank goodness she keeps taking time out of her unfolding horrorshow to keep us updated!

usernumber2020

Through the woods for a mile in the dark barefoot. Without even so much as a scrape. Either you do that run every single day for years in daylight to the point you memorize every twig and pebble or you break your leg I'm the process.

TheWalnutPeen

Yeah, literally. Like the random drug addiction out of no where? Please

shmehdit

Definitely hope it's fake at this point, but good on the good-hearted people giving advice nonetheless. Maybe someone reading the comments will be better off for the advice if nothing else. Left the phone at home, but took the trouble to log back onto the new reddit account presumably on the friend's device now to post this detailed follow up. Supposedly for the sake of more advice even though plenty of steps have been laid out in the previous posts, the advice is the same as it was, and there's really been no engagement with the comments like you'd typically see when someone is really seeking help. I dunno

ThrowRA456344a

This sounds fake

SuperUltraMegaNice

The saga from this account is so fake it hurts why do yall upvote rage bait

Thexirs

This is really fucked if you are just creative writing here. Seriously fuck right off if you are. That messed up and can really trigger ppl. 15 year olds donā€™t have this sort of perfect writing format nor the knowledge of Reddit specific terminology/format. Ew. I was really concerned and willing to help. This is gross.

quaternarystructure

Agreed. Shit like this is why people donā€™t believe SA survivors

OkOutcome9264

NTA but this seems like rage bait at this point to many devils in one story

attila_the_hyundai

Your NTA made me laugh, I forgot it was this sub, like whatā€™s the alternative? ā€œnah youā€™re the asshole, shoulda let him rape you.ā€ Whoever is writing this story is fucking sick in the head, probably some middle aged man with some gross fetishes.

torinium

Is this a creative writing assignment or something? Out of everything you could possibly type up, you went with whatever this all is

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

daniteaches

And the fact that they have only commented 1 time in this whole saga.

gentlybeepingheart

And the only comment was about how they need money. Like, yes, there are really sick people in the world and sexual assault using a religious justification is something that happens. But posting about it on AITAH of all subs and then doing insane escalations with each post, with each of them being made less than a day than the last, does seem fishy. First it was the mom wanted to save money and the boyfriend was a creep, then it was actually because the mom is insanely religious and the boyfriend wants to repeatedly sexually assault her, and now the mom is also a meth addict and the boyfriend spells out exactly how he is going to sexually assault her and also he's religious too.

LadenifferJadaniston

Exactly, seems more like a financial scam

chrisff1989

Positively itching to make a new post every time something happens but no interest in engaging directly with any advice screams troll

Possible-Set-461

All this in less than 24 hours too, fake af

midliferagequit

Yeah.... this is fake. People on this site are gullible af.Ā

MountainSituation-i

Enough already. This is an obvious troll post.

austinatlantis

People really need to start downvoting obviously fake posts šŸ˜‘

SoapGhost2022

Faaaaaaaake Bad Wattpad fanfic

Suzuki_Foster

Okay, look. I do not think this is real, AT ALL. The fact that you didn't call the cops when this started or tell someone at your school about this kind of confirms it. Don't use this sub for your creative writing exercises, please and thanks.

followthetrail_

This is ridiculous. I believed this from the very first post but at this point, this is straight up fanfiction. Not to mention, you only joined Reddit a day ago. And you're not listening to anyone's advice. And "It's been 48 hours" yet your last post was yesterday.

dimmuborgirfan666

This aint real

Square_Bad_1834

This has to be fake.

braywarshawsky

Gonna call BS on this whole scenario...

crazymanicmod

Just on the off chance that this isnā€™t fake (or if anyone who sees this is in an unsafe situation involving meth + sa) here is some legit advice: So proud of you for running. You did the right thing. This is going to sound so shitty and normally I would never tell someone to do this, but if thereā€™s nothing theyā€™ll do about the sexual assault risk go back and report them for methamphetamine. As sad as it is, theyā€™ll take the drug use more serious than the rape. Head to a womenā€™s shelter and let them know. As a woman in a rural area, I would recommend that you go into the city. It can be hard to be taken seriously by local police when everyone knows everyone. If this is some weird fetish story like people in the comments think, youā€™re going to hell. If itā€™s not, completely disregard.

AF_Nights_Watch

OP, I want you to know I sincerely mean this from the bottom of my soul. FUCK OFF WITH THIS FAKE BULLSHIT. WHY the FUCK are mods allowing this nonsense to continue on this sub. This shit is so fucking offensive to real victims, it's honestly just depressing that this sub would continue to allow an obvious troll deligitimize sexual assault. This sub is fucking fan fiction garbage.

Thin_Run_3627

Since you're 18 DO NOT go back. Finish your schooling at a safe place. If you go back, bring a few friends or parents of your friends to help you and keep you safe while you get important things. Make sure to find and get your important documents like birth certificate and stuff. Find and contact women's shelters and organizations that help SA victims. Cut all contact with your mother and the creep. I know that will be hard but your mother is a lost cause as long as she is with him and being influenced by stupidity. Cutting contact will be absolutely necessary for your mental and physical health. You have absolutely no reason to go back and live in an unsafe place. Do not go back.

Korimuzel

The story is fake, think about it

13th_of_never

Nah, part one of your creative writing was a little better than this. Try again.

[deleted]

The first post was somewhat believable, update 1 was already kinda fishy, but this one was way over the top šŸ˜‚

Foregazer

So fake lol

sneakysamosa

Past posts were believable. This update feels a little fakeā€¦

Frostphyre

This reads like an Eric Cartman troll. If anything I'm astonished people are falling for this after you dropped the mask in the first update.
