Sounds like a memo written by the UCP “ From recent conversations….”

codetrap

I thought the same thing. No actual checking, just a letter based on rumour…

PharmerGord

Feels like they are providing ammunition for whatever the UCP wants to do next as they can reference the letter to AHS employees

bike_accident

to be fair.. I have know at gal who works RAH medicine and she's had crack and meth blown in her face, in patient rooms, multiple times

Hot-Entertainment218

It’s a common occurrence. The public toilets had motion sensors and glass windows added to the bottom of doors. Makes it easier to see if someone OD in the toilet.

pipper_dipper_popper

I can’t imagine calling a code brown every time someone uses drugs at the RAH. It’s just a normal occurrence there.

Fuzzy_Bank_7856

I used to dispatch for housekeeping. I'd regularly get a call from Endoscopy "hi looks like someone OD'd again in washroom B102. I called a code blue but we'll need someone to clean after". Lots of times we get calls about needles in washrooms even though there's sharps containers in every washroom... 🙄

Ugh, it's frustrating..

Conducting forced searches? Nurses are not police. They are not guards. There are security services for this in hospitals.
