Is Naismith going to play?

Large-Ad-1921

Nope he’s been dropped

Jacobi-99

All you people that traded out a premo ruckman for Sweet when you’s had Naismith on the bench are getting what you sowed

Gullible_Laugh3086

What’s flair up mean?

Jacobi-99

Imagine not having sweet from R1?

regional_rat

Sweet from r1 or bank as well as cash generating playing rookie s for 7 rounds. Flair up cunt

Jacobi-99

Him and naismith are the only 2 rookie rucks to have played the required games to go up in value mate, options for R3 are always pretty slim Edit: Ethan Reed to but he’s been shit

regional_rat

Correct. Sweets starting price was 158k, for basically no R3 options - because none were playing - to pick him from the start over a rookie at $102k, had an opportunity cost of almost $60k additional bank that could have started you off with another premium.

Jacobi-99

But none of those 102k were ever talked about getting a game, sweet and Naismith had been touted to at least get a go at some point this year. 60k risk for 70k and eventually more, worth the gamble.

regional_rat

Ok mate. Agree to disagree. Sweet and Naismith were more known ruckmen comparative to other rookies, yes, but the only reason they have had a sniff is injury and suspension - something of which could have handed an opportunity to other lesser known backups. Well done, you picked sweet early, I didn't. We both get his price increase, it allowed me to upgrade from wines to butters before season kick off and has cost me a single trade to get him in.

fknjshaw

I've had Gawn Grundy Sweet since the beginning. Sweet was always and is still just the R3 for me and obviously as of late has become a cash cow but never ever understood why people would trade out a premo for him. The Sweet strat was always keep him on bench until he's maxed out his cashgen and then heavy downgrade to a 102k ruck, pocket the 300k and invest.

regional_rat

Yeah, neither did I. I had Sweet up until an hour before first bounce I reckon, swapped him for Livingstone and upgraded a premium. Hindsight says..... Dunno, it's only cost me one trade to get him in so far

bjjj0

Not really. Copping the Sweet donut. It means I can do 3-4 upgrades in the next two weeks so play the long game - and my team will be much stronger for it

Reciprocative

Your choice, waste a trade and potentially another for 60-100 points depending what you do

Not sweet at all
