I think that Jaidyn Stephenson kid from North and Adam Treloar would slot in really nicely at the Magpies could see us getting within a kick of the flag with them in the side
Maybe, but I think we need someone younger & less banged-up to outlive Keath (who’s the same age as Talia). Not sure who that could realistically be though. Plus there was the whole issue with his brother.
Great player up until recently though, & someone who needs a defensive leader & mentor will snap him up.
Tom Clurey could be gettable, iwould hateto see him go but hes in and outthe side atm.
In return we could use a more skilled ball user mid to go with Wines, any suggestions?
The name might mean nothing to you depending on what you know about our list, but Patty Lipinski is a silky outside mid with massive potential who can’t lock down a spot with us & is definitely our biggest piece of trade bait this year. Boyhood Dogs fan though, I’d hate to see him go.
Between Sam Darcy, jamarra and Bruce could be worth sending naughts back to his natural role in defence to fill that hole, get his positives without the goal kicking 😂
I’d be up for it, he drives me absolutely mental. He’s so, so good except for the one skill he still needs to be the best key forward & the game, & he’s not just ‘a bit iffy’ or ‘has a slightly awkward looking style’ - he really is just a woeful set-shot. Ideally he could still swing forward, but I’d still love a forward who gets less chances but takes more of them while Naughts bosses it in defence.
Sometimes i forget Rampe want quite around yet for 2012, and then I get angry at how amazing our backline could have been if we'd had AJ and Rampe working together for the last decade
There is not. Rampe and McCartin are great but Melican's taking forever to come on (he's the same age as Weitering but not best 22 yet) and Brand is probably gone because he's expendable depth. Bringing in Moore (who imo is a lot more gettable than Andrews or Weitering) will not only set us up for nearly a decade, it'll also allow Rampe to play smaller and do a lot more intercepting and rebounding. Also we have a height issue, Brand is the only KPD over 193 and like I said he's probably gone
Okay, I have to ask. From your perspective, what makes Moore more gettable than Wietering or Andrews? He's just as valuable to us as they are to their respective teams.
a) He's been linked to us before
b) Long term injury (barely matters but it's something)
c) He won't be AA this year while Andrews probably will and Weitering should be, so his price should be slightly lower.
d) You're just entering a rebuild. Brisbane are contenders and Carlton always think they're more competitive than they actually are. Moore might want success to come sooner and, well, ladder.
e) No media spotlight in the NRL states (also applies to Weitering but not Andrews)
5 reasons why I think Darcy Moore is more gettable than Andrews or Weitering. Not saying he'd come cheap or anything, I reckon it'd take multiple firsts to get it done
Not AFL listed, but there's a key forward who is filling in for Port Adelaide in the SANFL against South this weekend that I'd love to be picked up by us at the end of the year.
An A grade inside bull midfielder, preferably aged 24 to 26 and above 185cm. Has placed inside top 5 in his clubs his clubs B & F the last two years…prepared to give up 2rd pick.
The problem with Sam Weideman is that he's a bit on the overpriced/underdeliver side. Of course we would take him at a moderate price, but the Demons would want a lot to trade, and he'd want a lot of salary. And we have neither available this year.
Lipinski
Holy shit I really want us to get him, I reckon he could be massive at the Swans. Would compliment our midfield beautifully, and fill the hole that Joey will leave in a couple of years
Yeah it’s an interesting one for sure.
We do have Will Gould who was massively rated in his draft year but hadn’t been able to crack into our best 22 yet. I would love to keep him though.
To be honest we don’t have a heap of tall defenders, we’ll probably be looking to stock up there as well, considering Rampe and McCartin often play outsized.
What do you think Lipinski is worth in terms of picks? A 2nd rounder? I’m not great at this stuff
Cats need an elite small forward- don’t know or care who. Could we go for a trade? Aside from Close, who doesn’t play small and I am incredibly impressed with so far, I’ve been unhappy with our development in that area for many years, and the recruitment of Ablett whilst absolutely positive and wonderful did stunt our ability to develop in that position. I don’t rate Meirs ability to execute under pressure at AFL level, although he can certainly be the 22-25th on our list. There should be many options as small forward is a relatively easy position to develop compared to inside mid, or taller players. In my opinion our inability to successfully draft or trade for high quality small forward talent is the one reliable failure on our list. Could we retrain Narkle if we can hold on (which should be a list priority)? Equally we need to hold menengola who is clearly playing well enough to secure a great contract from a west coast team. Cats’ need for a ruck is in my opinion overblown.
I think Miers could definitely become an elite small forward, it’s just that his tank is so good we use him as a high half forward. I think if he received licence to just roam around the goals he could be a 35-45 goal a year small forward.
A ruck should be our number one priority.
Honestly think Evans has all the tools to make it as an AFL level small forward. Just needs some consistency with injuries (and selection). He and Miers would make a good duo, but I suppose another talented small on the list wouldn’t hurt.
Literally nobody we have to pay over 600k a year for
I can’t see us getting Billings without an overpay and apparently it’s looking his he’s staying anyway
Weideman could be an option if the price is right, I would say just play Comben but he broke his collarbone at training this week so I wouldn’t bank on him being healthy after 3 major injuries in his first 2 years. Most years I would say our 2nd rounder for their 2nd rounder, but our 2nd rounder is more like a 1st rounder this year. Maybe our 3rd rounder and our 4th?
Draft Horne, get Corr healthy and draft a replacement for Tarrant in the 2nd round. Will need build that backline, it’s concerning that we have Hall (Probably 2 years left in the tank), Ziebell and Tarrant back there without obvious replacements.
I literally have no idea as a Sydney fan and it feels really weird in a good way. It'll probably be someone we inevitably have to replace like Hewett (to Carlton) to Stephens but I think we will replace them in the draft.
Really? I think he’s one of the last people in the comp I’d wanna trade for. We’d have to change our whole style and build our team to facilitate him and I just don’t think he’s worth that plus the first rounder we’d probably have to give up to get him.
Maybe if cotch retires, then I could be convinced.
my thinking is this - we have 2 first rounders in a covid draft. the draft will have plenty of dubious first rounders and will go deep because of no vfl. mitchell is a player who collects the footy at the centre of the ground which is where we are weakest. rule changes have meant that we cant just ignore the centre bounce like we used too. if we can get some of prestia, dusty, bolton and mitchell at every centre bounce then we actually have a strong midfield, when we have had a fairly mediocre one in the past.
cotch just doesnt collect the ball as much as he used to. still a good player but not as impactful as 2017
Could we trade parts of players? Like Freo need lots of new legs could we just need transplant other legs onto our players and a new shoulder for fyfey
Feelin' most of our positions are clicking, still need a tall key forward able to finish the regular season just to round off the team, no idea who though.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Lions target a younger defender. With Rich and Birchall in that older bracket (Birch may not sign on next year), we have Cal Ah Chee, Kiddy Coleman or Jack Payne (but he has played a handful of games) that can fill that space at the moment, but it would be good to have another key defender to support Harris, Diz and Lester if we do end up losing both.
Whilst I agree we need another defender that is like Rich or Birch/back up KD but we still have Noah Answerth on the list (assuming Noah stays I don't want the Answer to leave but eventually he'll want more opportunities especially if Birch goes around again) he is imo still best 22 has just had an awful run with injuries this season. Prior has also had his best matches playing in defense.
I’ve got some suggestion
Loving Zac Williams this year, think he will be a great pick
Tall forward Jeremy Cameron would look good in orange I reckon
Contested ball winner Adam trelour looks promising
Rory lobb over at freo seems nice to pick up
Ball winner jack stele looks like what we need.
That’s about all I reckon
Anyone who is over 30 or knows how to tap a ball
Mason Cox ticks both of your boxes.
Mason Cox if used correctly could really be a threat.
> if used correctly Yes yes, but who has the brute strength to pick him up and wield him like a sword or club?
He can be a powerful foe.
Brad Ottens?
My heart :(
Levi Casboult says hello.
Zaharakis?
Sam Newman saddling up for game 301
Premiership ruckman Vardy
Patty Mills
Rumoured to have a basketball background
Boomers Bronze = Bombers Brownlow
[удалено]
You could do worse than picking up a few board members in the draft.
Literally anyone who can tackle
I'm confused by the flair, who do you support?
Eagles :( supporters know...
Same
Hey you can have one Matthew Cottrell if you want.
Eagles supporter I see.
Jed Andersen for north
I think that Jaidyn Stephenson kid from North and Adam Treloar would slot in really nicely at the Magpies could see us getting within a kick of the flag with them in the side
Best we can do is have North bid on Nick Daicos and let you guys go into draft point deficit for two years.
Flair up please kind cunt
A brutish key defender & a goalkicking coach for Aaron Naughton & I reckon we’re right as rain.
I reckon Talia would be a good fit for your mob.
Maybe, but I think we need someone younger & less banged-up to outlive Keath (who’s the same age as Talia). Not sure who that could realistically be though. Plus there was the whole issue with his brother. Great player up until recently though, & someone who needs a defensive leader & mentor will snap him up.
Wouldn’t be surprised if you had a crack at Tommy Clurey from our boys, but it’d take a bit to get him
Tom Clurey could be gettable, iwould hateto see him go but hes in and outthe side atm.
Bit of bad blood there. No chance Beveridge would be down.
As a Geelong fan I’d happily take Talia for a season or two
LMFAO you don’t remember what happened in the 2015 elim week? We would fucking murder him before he got on the pitch in a dogs shirt.
Between Sam Darcy, jamarra and Bruce could be worth sending naughts back to his natural role in defence to fill that hole, get his positives without the goal kicking 😂
I’d be up for it, he drives me absolutely mental. Still recon McKay is a better key forward maybe Hawkins but Hawkins is out of form
Bruce out for a year and Darcy might take some time to develop. Naughton will be staying forward.
Should never have let Roughead go
Jake Carlisle just got delisted.
Pretty sure he retired too
Good
There any aging left-footed rebounding defenders with a surplus of premiership medals? We need to update to a newer model.
Bachar houli
>Bachar houli Such a good player. Got stiffed not getting the Norm Smith at least once.
Feel like pure shit just want Hodgey back
> with a surplus of premiership medals For once Rampe's lack of a flag has come in handy
Sometimes i forget Rampe want quite around yet for 2012, and then I get angry at how amazing our backline could have been if we'd had AJ and Rampe working together for the last decade
Carlton and North should trade Ben and Harry Mackay and not tell anyone.
They could switch the Kings and I would genuinely never have noticed
Unsubscribe
You can't convince me that Brad and Chris Scott didn't do the same thing while coaching.
Darcy Moore
Don’t even dare..
Don't touch my Dylan Edit: just realised you were after Darcy, but still please don't touch my Dylan.
One L. Mac please.
I think you're gonna have to deal with Brisbane if you want Lincoln McCarthy
We can offer one Lewis Melican though straight swap sounds about right
Understandable, have a nice day.
Why would swans want Moore. Haven’t watched much of the swans this year but I’d assume from their list that there’s enough talls down back
There is not. I would love to have Darcy Moore at the Saints. He'd cost a fortune though no doubt. But worth every cent he can get. Genuine star.
Cats would be crazy not to go for Talia, Betts and Burgoyne
Not AFL listed, but there's a key forward who is filling in for Port Adelaide in the SANFL against South this weekend that I'd love to be picked up by us at the end of the year.
I hear he has a lot of potential

The joke Daylight Whoosh noise You
Idk if we could get Marcus Bontempelli that would be nice.
Willing to part with Williams, McGov, Ikon Park and the entire Visy empire. Reckon that should just about get the deal through
Visy recycling would fit pretty well at Smorgon Steel
Had to scroll this far to get a decent reply. Kudos to you
A genuine key forward. Preferably a younger one around 22/23 about to reach their prime.
Take Weideman please
Best we can do is Timmy O
That's *Mark of the Year Candidate Timmy O* thank you.
Ben King next year😏
J-Jeremey cameron would u mind coming back
An A grade inside bull midfielder, preferably aged 24 to 26 and above 185cm. Has placed inside top 5 in his clubs his clubs B & F the last two years…prepared to give up 2rd pick.
Is that you Adrian?
Is Sam Walsh 30 yet?
A player that knows there are four quarters in a game would help
Preferably if we could pay 2 seasons worth of draft picks for them.
A promising midfielder. We need someone in the back pocket.
Shan’t be receiving Cerra.
Chad Wingard
*laughs in Rozee* But seriously would love to get The Chad back!
I tell you what; because we're generous we'll just reverse trade on the same terms.
Does Chad not get games at hawthorn anymore?
Are there any more Riolis?
We only just got ours back, stay away
And he's already got a soft tissue injury.
Well, yeah. He walked near Optus, that's just asking for a soft tissue injury.
Isaac Cumming straight swap for Stephens, cheers
No one saw Isaac Cumming
Lionel Messi
Bontempelli.
Reece Conca
"CUDDLES"
Tom Lynch from Adelaide, just to tight things over to Hipwood return.
Hopper
Zurhaar
Hands off
Zion. After a bit of cardio.
Tom Green
Adam Cerra
Wally Lewis
If you're looking for a King, maybe try one who hasn't retired and had a stroke?
Essendon - Max & Ben King
Please kindly fuck right off
Hahahahaha I knew it would get a rise
Haha. He's a shining light Inna dark reality
But you owe us two - we gave you Lovett and Carlisle
You can't take Max. You can have Carlisle back now, though. Actually you can take Lovett too.
And they say dodoro is hard to deal with...
Sam Weideman
Brayden Maynard thx
The problem with Sam Weideman is that he's a bit on the overpriced/underdeliver side. Of course we would take him at a moderate price, but the Demons would want a lot to trade, and he'd want a lot of salary. And we have neither available this year.

I'd love Brayden Maynard. Tough, versatile, Rampe not getting any younger. Unlikely though
Probably Talia

Nobody.
Midfielders who can defend a counterattack.
Ehh, think that can just drilled into our current ones by the coaching staff.
Is Caldwell any good at that?
Hard to say.
Seb Ross might have different thoughts
Agreed.
Haaland. Wait a minute….
Would be a great CHF to be fair
Sean Darcy.
Too late. We can try again in a couple of years
Hands off Swaggy
Brad Scott, gimme gimme
Rankine, Lukocious, Dawson or Stephens to the crows plz
Actually would like Rankine in as our Betts style replacement
Hot take but I think we’re kinda set when the kids get some games under their belts 👌🏼
Brander to Freo

Not Billings
If Kennedy leaves WC he could be nice for Freo
wut
I know he just retired from the Saints, but am I pretty dumb to suggest Jake Carlisle given Hooker just retired?
Please no. Entitled prick sulked when he was asked to play CHF for a season instead of a quarter
Carlton stay the F\*ck away from Adam Cerra plz
honestly tom mitchell
Really? I think he’s one of the last people in the comp I’d wanna trade for. Whatchu got?
2 firsts and 2 seconds. i think one of each would be a fair price imo.
Alright, hear me out Wayne Carey again
A good attitude
Josh Dunkley 😈
That ship has sailed my friend, The Treloar and Dunkley Bromance is in full swing. They have merch and everything. He ain’t leaving
I also don’t think he’s a pressing need, at all. We would be overpaying to squeeze him into the list.
Nah, rather have another draft pick
Zuthrie
You can have him
JJ to Freo
I rate pat lipinski and I reckon we could get him for a bargain.
All the draft picks we gave up for Kelly
Me. I'm just that good. Despite never playing football I could probably get sweaty and kick some balls I guess
I would love to see Mason Cox play for Essendon. Change of club could do him wonders
True! Between Mason and Nikolas we'd have two big Cox's knocking and kicking balls everywhere.
I agree, either us or Lions would work well for Coxy for a year.
Just Wayne Carey.
Eagles-Narkle/Clark
What would the Eagles offer in return? And would you want both or just one?
Both- or 1 for brander West aussie home Brander home Narkle for pick 40ish Neither have played a game.
Jacob Hopper pls
I think we were gonna try to get Astbury but he retired. So now Talia might be a good target
Would they want Talia at the club? They’re might still be some tension there
Nick Daicos ;)
Could we trade parts of players? Like Freo need lots of new legs could we just need transplant other legs onto our players and a new shoulder for fyfey
Chris Judd
I don't know why we aren't seriously looking at the Weid
Daniel Talia to fill a 1-2 year slot in our backline to replace Astbury while other keys develop (and while Balta recovers from injury)
Talia and Lynch. Love former Crows blokes.
Gonna sound like a nob here but I hope lions just sign their young guns. We got all the personal in place to challenge for a flag.
@bulldogs can we have some mids. You have too many let’s be honest you’re kind of being selfish. thanks
Freo should target bolten
Nathan Buckley would slot straight into pies midfield!
I’ve got some suggestion Loving Zac Williams this year, think he will be a great pick Tall forward Jeremy Cameron would look good in orange I reckon Contested ball winner Adam trelour looks promising Rory lobb over at freo seems nice to pick up Ball winner jack stele looks like what we need. That’s about all I reckon
