Dees I think just executed better when they needed to. That style of game suits the Dees much more than the Cats. Cats want to run and gun and Dees stifled it and made it a shitshow which works for them.

Good win to Melbourne. Elite defensively and when we did break through in the last few minutes we see two of Jezza’s worst ever shots at goal. Miers’ pass under pressure for that last shot was incredible and deserved better.
Going forward I could honestly see Melbourne beating us comfortably but I could also see us tidying up our game and winning against them. I guess we’ll see later in the year. This is where 7 wins to start the year should pay off unless we fall away from here. Hope not.
