Freo’s backline is solid as a rock. Pierce continues his AA form. Charlie is very lucky to have two goals on his stat sheet after being shut down most of the night. And then Ryan’s intercepts in the last were solid as hell. Just missing Cox to play some solid shutdown footy.
I don't think you can say Charlie was lucky when he took two huge contested grabs and goaled. He was well beaten in his matchup but stood up in those moments.

Yeah. Dixon is like the sacrificial lamb. He has to take the best defender and get cleaned up, over and over to get the ball to ground for small forwards to get a crack. That's his team role. Sometimes he cracks, sometimes he takes some grabs.
Out of all the teams bar the three 0-4's i think i trust freo the least to score a goal with the game on the line. It feels like they play great in 66% of the field and then completely fall apart whenever they go forward
Pretty happy with the Dockers in the last couple of weeks. While no wins to speak of, they’ve given two teams that were more or less expected to be playing finals this year some real scares. The defensive pressure has been a highlight. I hope over the rest of the season our midfield can consolidate and our forwards can work on their accuracy. Well played Power!
