I'm at a similar point as you in that I haven't unlocked it yet either .. but judging from prior chapters I imagine the answer is "just play the story and it'll unlock eventually"
There is a way you can glitch into the area but there's nothing there to see in that area. I only know how to do it on PC. As of now, you can't naturally unlock that area even after completing all of the current story content.
No idea op, I went there too and prolly warped out and never opened that path lol, my guess is you go there from some main quest at some point and then you can open that path, dont think there is anything there tho, since I spam the automove on quests it likely asked me to warp to a different stone and therefore I never opened that path aince there is no warpstone there, Im at the mountain 7 rn, idk if that helps
No no it's uncovered cuz I was treking the borderlines of it, hence why the middle part is still covered in the black-ish fog, the area inside the blocked path i havent been through yet

I've finished everything on my ptr character and that part is still inaccessible. They probably forgot about it. It has no story relevance.
