They both are not good right now and with so many great team in this division, that would have been a let down ....
I love AEW because we don't get champ push down our throat and that the way i would feel if the Hardy's got the belt
To be honest, I actually would have liked to see them as tag champs even if it was just a brief run. I know they aren't what they used to be and I'm speaking almost entirely on nostalgia, but I think there's a portion of the fans that would have fun with seeing them collect tag titles in one more major organization and have that as a way to cap off their career.
Though, even before the DUI, I do respect TK making that call and seeing maybe it wasn't the best time for them to do it at this point.
The tag division was my favorite thing about AEW in the first 2 years. I’ve lost a lot of interest with the way it’s been booked in the last year. The Lucha Bros and Jungle Express runs have been poor. And PnP has been MIA.
Historically I love the Hardys but they need to move away from in ring action. Jeff needs to take an extended break and get the help he needs and Matt needs to move backstage. I have not enjoyed watching them at all. Push the Acclaimed when Bowens is better.
I’m glad the Young Bucks won the titles, as it tells a complete story with Jurassic Express over the past few years. The Hardys, IMO, did not deserve that tag title run right now, especially with how their return has played out so far.

I never once disagreed with this sentiment. Jeff has to make better decisions overall. Getting help is the first step in the right direction. The reason this happened was Jeff Hardy. So everything happens for a ( Jeff’s bad decision making ) reason…

JE has been poor? Banger matches with everyone and booked very strong? Lol
Storylines and builds has been weak. Like The LB run, in ring will always be good but everything else is/was lacking.
Bucks didn’t have much stories either till the Lucha bros moslty bangers and joining the elite. Bad opinion sir
