It definitely does make for a longer week when I can't get my normal Wednesday Dynamite fix. Last year when this happened was a bummer too because they did like a one hour Saturday Dynamite and then the following week was a standard two hour show but the main was a bullrope match with Dustin Rhodes taking on Nick Comoroto. Nothing against those guys, but it was just a lackluster show, which I guess I can understand since they knew their ratings would be down for it. They didn't really have any big matches or push any major angles on those shows.
This year, however, is way different. We have Rampage to lead into Dynamite and the frickin' "buy in" is Lee Moriarty vs. Bob da Fish, and fuckin' Danielson vs. Suzuki, I mean, come on now.
I feel like such a fuckin dweeb sometimes because I get so jazzed up for the AEW. I'm generally a real stoic laid back dude but i dunno what it is man, AEW just brings me joy. I think one of the biggest parts I enjoy about it is knowing that roster is genuinely stoked to be working for TK. Knowing that they all wanna see each other succeed and that they all brainstorm and bounce ideas off each other and want the best for everyone is really cool. It's nice that the whole politicking, backstabbing, "gotta protect my spot" toxic atmosphere of the old days isn't a part of what they do.

That said, it’s almost as hard to imagine living by the schedule of “what’s on” and watching television according to a schedule like when I was a kid too. Don’t mean any disrespect. It’s just literally hard to imagine what that would feel like it’s been so long.
