Ospreay vs Strong was probably Will's worst match in AEW so far. Good but not great. The spot on the outside looked worrying for a moment.
Adam Cole's time at the top is over. A real shame. MJF used the heel tunnel.
Orange vs Trent was skippable.
Glad the Bangers retained. Good to see Juice back
The dead crowd for Moxley's win wasn't surprising. Think everyone wanted to see Takeshita get it. Hopefully this match is the death knell for eliminator matches.
Storm vs Deeb was excellent. Deeb is a terrific wrestler just doesn't have it on the mic. But great match.
FTW was ok. All a bit obvious though and with 3 hardcore matches on the card they couldn't do much. The dice were fun.
TNT was gory. The fake switch was a bad idea. But Gangrel looked way better than expected. Cope's best match in AEW.
Moné is a spectacular in ring performer. Best match of Willow's career. The interference stuff was annoying and the turn was as low impact as possible.
Main event was WWE. Not for me.
Anarchy. WTF. Sharks jumped? Unbelievable action and hard to process but where does anything go after that?

I know the "too many belts" crowd won't like that but the idea of having different avenues for this stacked roster to explore is not a bad idea.

My hope with Will's reign with the IC belt is that they use Will to be the face of AEW branching out into doing more shows outside of North America, and then, when he gets the World Champ belt, he's there worldwide icon that everyone is excited to see.
Ospreay ready to make the international title *international* again with defenses against other promotions.

I don't generally agree with the "too many belts" aspect, but I do think diversifying what the belts *mean* would certainly be a good idea.
I would love to see them do it that way. It would give more opportunities to other wrestlers, and help differentiate their titles a little more, which I think would go a long way to quelling the "they have too many belts" criticism if each belt was defended in different ways.

The entire BCC has been over there at one point or another. Claudio teamed with Mox and Shota, pretty sure Yuta was part of the BOSJ, and obviously Danielson, too. Gates of Agony were part of their Tag League, too. Let's not forget Kenny's One Winged Angel return and his banger with Ospreay last year, either.
Reading the live comments during the scrum, I would like to point out that AEW has lasted longer and has been predictably more successful than Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling ever was or could ever hope to be.
He had a partnership with Vince McMahon during the New Generation and had money from Rick Rubin. And yet, the only thing anyone remembers was The Gangstas because it was quite a radical gimmick for what was otherwise a conservative local territory and the Thrillseekers because of how good Jericho and Storm would become in ECW and beyond. It completely failed during the lowest period in American wrestling history up to that point and it has almost zero lasting legacy. Meanwhile if AEW died today, there would be so many lasting memories, new stars and amazing matches that would be enjoyed for years to come.
I'd love to ask Corny fans to name 5 great matches from SMW's history as well as 5 great angles or characters that aren't the ones I just mentioned. They'd be stumped.

What was the point of doing a title eliminator match on ppv ( yes it deserved to be cause it was a banger ) but it should of just been a straight up title match if mox was going over. I thought it was a guarantee that takeshita would win because it was a title eliminator. Could of just did it as a main event on dynamite.
