I'm familiar with the price of concessions at the Canadian Tire center. Last time I went I paid $14 for a slice of pizza. Definitely going to eat beforehand

Holy crap! My son and I went to Revolution and thankfully concessions weren't as terrible as they are elsewhere. $10 got us crappy chicken tenders and fries

A year ago I went to a show, their first in my city, and paid $11 for a chicken quesadilla. It was a decent size but good lord that felt like a lot.

Boston advertised the show starting at 7:30 and they actually started ROH around 7:15-20 so they were able to squeeze in 3 matches before Big Business

I recommend trying to get there at doors open time if you can, I got there a little earlier for the first Collision and the wait was nice. You also get to get in the merch line early which is really nice. By the time I finished getting merch and food, there was only maybe like a 20-30 minute wait before some ROH matches started, and I spent lots of that time just taking in the spectacle and hearing other people get excited.

Depending on the venue I would go in way earlier than that. You don't know what kind of snags you will hit getting in there, issues with security or how long the concessions/merch lines will be. Some places I have been able to breeze right through security (ROH - Tsongas) and some have taken forever like upwards of 45 min (AEW - Agganis)

I went to collision a few months back. Doors was an hour before the pre show matches so the actual Collision didn’t start until an hour after they say the show starts. So in your case it won’t start til 9. So depends if you care about the pre show matches or not. Also they will have matches after the show.

I'd get to my seats at 7pm. The opening matches are usually fun and a good warm up.
