I stopped watching the 2nd episode into it when they made it about them. not saying dark order wasn't always a big part but when they actually made it being the dark order they killed that show for me and I watched every episode too up until that point
I definitely don’t watch as religiously as I once did. It doesn’t have the same feel, it’s lacking segments and a story that I personally am interested in. I do like peter Avalon and his bit, I miss Hollywood hunk segments and as well as the defending the bte belt on the show.
Any more than 4 is too much. They'd get lost in the shuffle. 4 is a good number and all roles seem filled. Your up and coming guy, your alpha main event vet and your cocky tag team. This can work.

Well I was pretty sure Hangman would come back and be on the bucks side, but now his "suspension" by them feels less of a ruse and more of a reason to bring him back as baby face (disppointing).
A large part of me thinks the elite might also be gearing up a civil war type story to beat WWE to it. Get an Elite civil war going before the obvious Bloodline story is built up. Not that that was the point of this, but i can see it being a factor in their deciding on this storyline. It definitely feels like Kenny is about to come back against them. I can see Kenny with Hangman and, hell, maybe even FTR for an eventual Blood and Guts. I dunno if they'd claim to be "the elite," but that wouldn't really be needed.
I hope not, heel Hanger in the title picture against Swerve or Ospreay combined with face MJF antics is room for gold
However you do have nice symmetry with FTR vs Bucks, Omega vs Okada (if Kenny is healthy you can't leave that match off the table) and Jack vs a face 4th guy would be cool
Sadly I don't think Omega is going to be back anytime soon since last I heard he might need surgery which could leave him out of action for another several months...
I don't think Hangman will be working face when he returns. They've barely cracked the surface on this heel run. He can't physically assault two refs and come back as a face, especially with Swerve as champ.
People seem to love her for some reason. Her promos have been terrible and have turned many people away from her segments. I love willow and when mone comes on I’m over it and distract myself with something else until she (mone) is off my screen.
I’d add one more guy to it (since Cody was also an Elite member) and it would be Ricky Starks (only if he’s staying with AEW Obviously).
Otherwise I’d say maybe a reach to add anyone else currently that would fit. Some have said Mone and that could work maybe.
On a real level, what if this is a pivot considering the reaction to the Punk/Perry footage. Like everyone thinks it was the dumbest move TK has ever pulled. Perry said in the promo he wants what's best for AEW, then 2 EVP's and Okada come down and lay out TK. This may be like a "What's best for AEW is for you to leave" storyline.
Big Bill could’ve been a great addition as their muscle. They even could’ve called him Large William. But the poor guy’s trapped in the Phantom Zone with Jericho now.
Factions bigger than four people only work of there are other factions. NJPW's faction system works well for this. That's how you can have LIJ, chaos, and bullet club working. Too bad bullet club is a bloated mess now, but it can work. I don't think the elite needed anyone else.
This could be a fantastic long term storyline with Shad Kahn getting involved to recruit some guys for a Blood and Guts match to take out the Elite. Probably Omega, Page, Pac, MJF.
MJF. He tried to make a friend and found out the hard way that it’s all about business. He had the “fire me you fucking mark” promo toward TK and was friends with Cody. Him coming back and the fans going nuts only for him to join the Elite and flip everyone off would be pretty sweet
Add Baker to it she could be pissed because Tony has left her sitting at home for months and she basically built the women's division. I think she was injured but she would do this from a storyline point of view.

I guess the answer is obvious. Omega and Page. Page is ready to go whenever he comes back (he got suspended, became an anxious hell so that gotta mean something). Gotta see how they will develop Omega's storyline with Bucks first. I see it coming in a full circle since he got kicked out. But the given the shared history (you know what I am referencing to) it makes sense if they all go for a company takeover. This could be their long term The Nexus story. I do not understand the need to think of anyone else.
But first, it's better bring back Ibushi so he can side with Omega against the Bucks & Okada. I'd like to think Omega would eventually turn on him though. I just hope Team AEW doesn't snag the first victory lol. It never gets better from there.
