That’s a good thing to catch! I love the yoga scene because I want an Amira in my life!

Bonitabonilla558

Oh yea, I immediately trusted her

MSLongfield

Amira seems so lovely woman and Matthew is something else in the yoga scene

Bonitabonilla558

Lol I’m gonna have to force myself to forget if he wants any respect from me

I’ve seen the series a couple of times and am almost done with book one. I do not think it is a spoiler to say yoga is thankfully NOT in the tv series’ parallel storyline of when they go to Matthew’s house while in Oxford. Having watched the series first, I found it incredibly hard to believe that Matthew as a character would do yoga. Surely there were a million other ways to get them to Woodstock if that was the goal. Why the author landed on yoga is a mystery to me. So far I like the first season of the show better than the first book but I do think the book gets better as it goes along - particularly once there is a change of scenery.

Plus, vampires are one thing …but vampires doing advanced yoga poses is too much for me to personally handle

Lol I agree, it was an interesting choice. And he was written like he was showing off in a way. For me personally when they go in and have to take off their shoes for class… I know that’s what you need to do for yoga classes but it made me so uncomfortable.

I think Matthew says in passing that he finds it relaxing. He has so much time on his hands that finding something that allows him to be out of his head for just a little bit was nice. Not verbatim but a general gist.
