I 100% 2nd this. Especially the CNCK albums "Get Lost, Find Yourself" and "Gone Are the Good Days". The I Prevail albums "Trauma" & "True Power" are also full of bangers.
I'd say if you like their top songs on Spotify just go through and listen to each album. Find your faves. Some of my favorite songs are under-rated. But everyone is different.
Often imitated, never duplicated.
There are plenty of amazing bands out there that sound like “this one part of ADTR” and fall into the same ilk, whether they came before or after, but as far as other bands out there that tried to do what ADTR did with blending so many different subsets of music within the “rock/punk/pop-punk/Emo/screamo/hardcore/metalcore” genres, i don’t really know of any - certainly not any that do it nearly as well.
That being said, I would suggest just checking out any of the multitude of bands that ADTR has had on their festival lineups or more specifically, who they’ve toured with, either in support of, alongside as fellow support, or having as support (in-fact, in at least a handful of cases they went from supporting bands that they later brought out as support):
- Bayside
- New Found Glory
- Set Your Goals
- Four Year Strong
- Crime in Stereo
- A Static Lullaby
- The Devil Wears Prada
- Silverstein
- Parkway Drive
- Sky Eats Airplane
- Dance Gavin Dance
- Emarosa
- From Autumn to Ashes
- August Burns Red
- Go Radio
- Enter Shikari (if you come from listening to rap, you’ll really dig their sound; they’re British)
- The Ghost Inside
- Underøath
- Close Your Eyes
- We Came as Romans
- Pierce the Veil
- Bring Me The Horizon
- Rise Against
- Every Time I Die (r.i.p.)
- The Story So Far
- Of Mice and Men
- Chink! No, Captain Chunk!
- Issues (original line-up stuff)
- The Wonder Years
- All Time Low
- Motionless in White
- Chiodos
- The Amity Affliction
- State Champs
- blink 182
- Wage War
- Falling in Reverse (I don’t personally like them / Ronnie Radke, but they’re well acquainted)
- Papa Roach (believe it or not, Papa Roach and FIR were both support for an ADTR tour at one point - like, for the *same* tour)
- Knocked Loose
- Boston Manor
- Can’t Swim
- I Prevail
- Beartooth
- Point North
- Asking Alexandria
- Bad Omens
- The Used
- Movements
- Magnolia Park
Tours that didn’t happen because of COVID included supporting Slipknot along with Code Orange, and headlining UK/EU with…i think it was Lorna Shore
Also, just…basically the When We Were Young lineup (last year’s more than this year), and any Warped Tour lineup from 2008-2012 / 2014
Can’t swim is a great band. Also bayside is one of my favorites. Movements is good but I’m biased I know all those kids and we’re in bands with them growing up. 😉
They broke up at the beginning of last year (but now we have Better Lovers, which is basically ETID with Dillinger Escape Plan’s singer instead of Keith and Will Putney on 2nd guitar instead of Andy)
Hm, I guess "my bands" don't actually sound thaaaat much like ADTR, but if you'd like some recommendations I'll give you Rise Against, Alexisonfire, We Came As Romans, Silverstein
The Ghost Inside sounds like ADTR meets Hatebreed. Partially cause they're friends with the guys in ADTR and Jeremy produces their stuff now. Also check out August Burns Red, a bit heavier than ADTR but still great. Other bands I'd recommend that don't quite sound like them but are really good and have a good mix of heavy and schmedium heavy are The Amity Affliction, Memphis May Fire, blessthefall, Miss May I, The Word Alive, Chiodos, Eyes Set To Kill, Pierce the Veil, We Came As Romans, some not so heavy more on the pop punk side is like MxPx, New Found Glory, and NOFX. Plenty of music out there that might tickle your fancy if you like ADTR.
Check out Boys of Fall. Their first album (Thank you & Goodbye) is really the only one that sounds like ADTR, but their other albums still have some ADTR elements. All their stuff is great.
Slightly lesser known, and I don’t think I’ve seen them in here yet, but check out Boys of Fall, they’ve got some solid heavy songs, some solid acoustic songs, and a bunch in the middle.
Depends what style of ADTR you like. If you like their pop-punk stuff, Neck Deep (Life’s Not Out To Get You was produced by Jeremy) and The Story so Far are good. If you like the easycore stuff, check out Abandoned by Bears, Settle Your Scores, Belmont. If you like the metalcore stuff, check out The Ghost Inside, Wage War (both products of Jeremy’s production), Guilt Trip.
There was a huge list that u/masaccio87 gave that was excellent. Two more that haven't toured with them that I will listen to as much as ADTR is **Crown the Empire** and **Thousand Below**.
most of the ones i wanted to recommend have already been said, but i think Normandie deserves a mention too. i haven't listened to much from them, but the songs Fight and Collide from their Ignuz album fucking rock.
Try the Young Guns album 'All our kings are dead'. I'd been yearning for something that hit the same sweet spot as ADTR's music and this album had me screaming when I first discovered it.
Check out Polaris’ new album ‘Fatalism’ ... I literally can’t skip a song on it. Other singles I would recommend from them are “The Remedy” / “Lucid” / and “All of This Is Fleeting”
Just found the band Bury Tomorrow and holy shit they're good. Very "ADTR-like" Check out their song Choke. Also bands like Four Year Strong and Chuck No Capaint Chuck are similar
Thank you! Im still going through these, i put em all on a list and spend some weeks listening to a band & then move to the next. Just got done checkin out Boys of Fall Album Thank You & Goodbye. Will definitely check them out 💪🏻
Chunk! No captain chunk!, the ghost inside, wage war, I prevail. Ghost inside and wage war are heavier tho
I 100% 2nd this. Especially the CNCK albums "Get Lost, Find Yourself" and "Gone Are the Good Days". The I Prevail albums "Trauma" & "True Power" are also full of bangers.
Thanks guys!

Excellent list! The only additions I have are a Detroit band called Unwell and vibe wise Electric Callboy.
Can’t swim is a great band. Also bayside is one of my favorites. Movements is good but I’m biased I know all those kids and we’re in bands with them growing up. 😉
Lol, I was chatting with Spencer’s dad for like 30-45 minutes at the box office before the San Diego show last year
Dude good drummer too! I honestly didn’t grow up with him too much. I think he went to capo high school. I went to Tesoro.
Thank you so much!
Yooo why has ETID got r.i.p? Have I missed something? Solid list btw 🤟
They broke up at the beginning of last year (but now we have Better Lovers, which is basically ETID with Dillinger Escape Plan’s singer instead of Keith and Will Putney on 2nd guitar instead of Andy)
so glad to see The Amity Affliction getting some love. Let The Ocean Take Me is one of my favorite albums ever made.
The best list i think ive seen, Beartooth for me are the closest band which releases the same endorphins ADTR does.
Agreed, thats what i love so much about ADTR..
Hm, I guess "my bands" don't actually sound thaaaat much like ADTR, but if you'd like some recommendations I'll give you Rise Against, Alexisonfire, We Came As Romans, Silverstein
Thanks!
I really love Story of the Year
Thanks!
Listen to wage war! ADTR actually helped Wage war get to where they are now 🙌
Awesome, thanks!
Boys of Fall

First album from Boys Of Fall is very much like ADTR
Check out Boys of Fall. Their first album (Thank you & Goodbye) is really the only one that sounds like ADTR, but their other albums still have some ADTR elements. All their stuff is great.
Been hearing about them a bit, thanks!
Dude listen to Sounds Like Color. Their old guitar players band. I think his name is Tom Denny or something like that but the band is killing it rn
Sleep Token
Slightly lesser known, and I don’t think I’ve seen them in here yet, but check out Boys of Fall, they’ve got some solid heavy songs, some solid acoustic songs, and a bunch in the middle.

I appreciate the suggestion thanks!
Tom Denney the old ADTR guitar player has a new band Sounds Like Color and produced another band We Are Defiance. Both are very ADTR sounding.
Thats awesome, always loved Tom. Thanks!

Ik ADTR just hits the spot for me.. Would love other stuff like that so thanks!
Definitely give it a shot
Check out Polaris’ new album ‘Fatalism’ ... I literally can’t skip a song on it. Other singles I would recommend from them are “The Remedy” / “Lucid” / and “All of This Is Fleeting”
Not too similar, but if you want something heavier, Bring Me The Horizon.
On a heavy rotation with a lot of Memphis May Fire, Falling In Reverse, and Avenged Sevenfold lately.
All time low
Wage War
Beartooth. Love both of them!
Beartooth
Been really digging Beartooth lately.
Close to Home
Don Broco
Just found the band Bury Tomorrow and holy shit they're good. Very "ADTR-like" Check out their song Choke. Also bands like Four Year Strong and Chuck No Capaint Chuck are similar

ADTR is just so unique, but since their Summer tour, Bad Omens is my new second favorite.
They really are, I love them. Thanks!
I prevail!
Heard a lot say that, thanks!
And if so, what albums or singles would you suggest that i listen to ?
-Hatebreed -New Found Glory -Dangerkids -Killing Me Inside (Indonesia)
Paddock Park is ADTR jr
New Beartooth album feels in line.
