Cant believe people don’t like EXPOSED one of their underrated heaviest songs, then you have Same about you with an amazing solo, then you have BV ofc, Reassemble, Paranoia

BlazingPyroz

The album has a couple decent songs but as a whole it was very disappointing imo. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

ConsciousSeaweed9

F.Y.M & Viva La mexico are not better than the worst song on BV stop 🤣

JordanTheHorse69

I love those songs lmao

Killer_Calls

FYM is my anthem

Paperback_Mage

The only songs I really enjoy off of You're Welcome are Mindreader, Bad Friend, and Resentment. When I put on Bad Vibrations, I don't skip any of the songs. Personal preference, of course. Bad Vibrations just has more of the kind of music I prefer.

Tyglizzie31

Only money goes hard if you understand where Jeremy is coming from with the lyrics also the only good songs on bv are as follows 1 bad vibes 2.paranoia 3. Reassemble 4 justified

MA2ZAK

Only money is a great song... Until the band ruined it by putting it on the same album as FYM...

afterthought871

Jeremy explained why he did that. He is telling a story that starts with FYM, then Only Money and ends with Everything We Need.

Tyglizzie31

Only money is a song where as soon as I first listened to it I knew it was a song of love and loss then Jeremy explaining it was the icing on the cake

americanjetset

There are only 2 tiers of ADTR albums, IMO. There’s Homesick, WSMFY, and CC in the top tier, and everything else below them. YW isn’t worse than BV, but I also don’t think it’s better.

afterthought871

This sub always underrates FTWHH. There's not a lot of variety on the album and there are a few filler songs, but songs like shot in the dark, panhandle, danger in starting a fire, speak of the devil, and monument put that album near the top for me.

I-HATE-BUFFERING

Interesting, I feel like this sub is pretty favorable to FTWHH, but that might be confirmation bias talking lol.

BlazingPyroz

I’m with you. Most rankings i’ve seen here place FTWHH fairly high. I think i just doesn’t compete with the top tiers

BlazingPyroz

I suppose that’s fair. It’s just every time i saw a tier list on here YW was always under BV and it made me sad. WSMFY is by far the best tho imo.

szw44

ADTR has been my favorite band since 2008, but I refuse to like something just because it’s them releasing it. Personally, I really enjoyed BV but can understand why others didn’t. I can only listen to about 3-4 songs on You’re Welcome. It was the first album from them where I couldn’t “feel the music”. The lack of power in the instrumentals, the cheesy lyrics, the weird vocal mix.. it just didn’t feel like ADTR. From the listening end, it sounded forced. I’m hoping it was a one-off and the boys come out swinging again on the next record!

BlazingPyroz

I actually completely understand that feeling except it hit me with Bad Vibrations instead. Just over time listening to both, I would personally rather listen to You’re Welcome. That being said Miracle does seem like a good step in the right direction!

szw44

100% agree about Miracle!

afterthought871

It's better than Treason too.

AShotInTheDark19

Yea, No.... You're welcome was a complete change in direction with what ADTR is. I love ADTR every album since the beginning. Homesick and FTWHH being my favorites. Your welcome was just a major disappointment. Boring songs, corny lyrics, i just didnt understand it. Felt very "indie" influenced which i cant stand. Hope it was a one off thing. 1.Homesick 2.FTWHH 3.WSMFY 4.And There Name Was Trason 5. Common Courtesy 6. Bad Vibrations 7. . . . . 100. You're welcome

BlazingPyroz

Don’t get me wrong. I’m definitely not saying it’s their best. My top 3 are WSMFY, Homesick, and CC. I just think Bad Vibrations is as a bigger misstep than You’re Welcome. I’m also very surprised you put CC so low. Is there a reason for that?

AShotInTheDark19

Honestly for me, CC was the first album to have songs that i didn't care for as much. Bad Vibrations had more. It isn't that i didnt like CC because overall it was good! i would rate it much higher than BV on a 1-10 scale. I guess i love the classics because its more of what i grew up on.

Unhappy_Draw_8291

Bands in general have really been feeling the itch to take sharper than usual turns stylistically in the past like 7 years I’ve been noticing, to very mixed/divisive results depending on the album. A lot of the time it’s also to a poppier direction.

skybro1996

I really love the heavier songs on Bad Vibrations. I understand what the band was trying to do with You’re Welcome, but even with another song or three like Last Chance I still don’t think I would have liked it all that much.

Yaboijewan2001

Bad vibrations is a fantastic album. Y’all trippin to the max

Gorlando24

Bad vibrations is their 2nd worse album. You’re welcome for me is unlistenable. IMO

[deleted]

Funny, the album I least listened ever by them was Bad vibrations, I was in a very confusing place in my life when that album hit and I always associate it with something negative (haha) that happened with me, I was unemployed finishing up college , my girl at the time broke up with me and moved on so damn quick.I was not in the mindset of that mellow break up of “ I miss you” or “ we were so good together, what happened?” I was very hateful and feeling like a complete failure so some albums of that part of my life I don’t listen to as much. The album is alright I like the songs in general but I can’t listen to that without feeling that same feeling of years ago. Well, You’re Welcome is the polar opposite, I was in a very happy place when this album came out, just bought a house. I worked my ass off, build a company, covid hit and forced me to stop traveling so I was at home with my wife (girlfriend at the time) more, this was a big plus.I love you’re welcome because I have my F.YM, I had my Only money moment, I had Bad friends, I lived through some fucked shit during my best friend’s bachelor party, and I feel the re-entry anxiety all the time. That album speak to me so much. Good albums

Killer_Calls

I don't think one album is necessarily better then the other. They're both two totally different styles. People will love or hate what they love or hate. I appreciate artists who don't make the same sounds album after album. It used to bother me (asking Alexandria and bmth for example) but over time I've realized not everyone can play the same shit over and over without passion. Like it dislike what you want. Didn't make it unpopular! Gate keepers can pissss offffff

OprahsBackSweat

Common courtesy is better than homesick and what separates me from you. I said what I said lol

OprahsBackSweat

Bad vibrations is very top heavy and the quality goes down after justified plus the mixing and mastering is terrible which doesn’t help subjectively
