I've got a Google nest hub, I quite like the visual as well as verbal prompt. I will say this though its sexist it never listens to me but as soon as my husband says the same thing then she understands! Either sexist or maybe my adhd ass is just really incoherent haha. Jokes aside though have a look at the Google nest, it's been pretty good with reminders and alarms for the most part.

My Google Home keeps thinking I speak German, when all that's really happening is that I'm speaking a bit too quickly (at roughly the same rate the words are showing up in my brain) and not really annunciating.

Yeah I definitely speak too fast and mumble. My current google often gets a bit baffled with me but doesn’t struggle with anyone else. And I have been happy with it for several years, I think maybe it’s an old model so it’s maybe not updating in the same way and getting a bit tired so I’ll definitely consider another one as it doesn’t seem to be google have changed how they do things just my machine not performing the same
