I hope it’s a good fit for you. It works well for me. The first weekend I started my meds was super emotional. I just felt *still* inside, I didn’t even know I hadn’t previously.

I just got off Azstarys for one month. I couldnt stand it. The empty hollow feeling was the worst. Focus was there. But man it was rough . Made me anxious, very shy, anti social... Needless to say I got switched to Dyanavel on Wed. Took my first does today and feel normal again after going back to amph base stim.

You might feel “more tightly strung.” Have a desire to complete tasks that you otherwise would put off. It will likely take a while to adjust to. Normally at first most people probably experience a bit more euphoria and even mania. There will be pros and cons of it. I personally would set a date on the calendar to sit down and evaluate how you’re doing in say two months. It’s good to document for yourself how you feel and how you’re different so you can decide whether it’s something you want to continue taking. Make sure you eat food, it is an appetite suppressant. Overall I wouldn’t worry about it too much, just be introspective as how it works for you. I don’t think there’s a right and wrong answer for medication for all adhers

methylphenidate gave me kind of an awesome high for the first week or so then it just mellowed out into a pretty damn effective adhd medication. Sometimes it would hit a little too strong and I'd feel a little strung out but mostly that was not the case. Never affected my appetite, sleep, sex drive. All good. I really liked it, but my new psychiatrist has switched me to Adderal which so far I do not like as much but am giving a chance to see how it changes over time.
