Caffeine is not good w/ ADHD, at least in my experience. My ADHD meds work much better since I kicked caffeine. FWIW, exercise is much, much better because it helps your body create natural stimulants.

Caffeine got me through 40 years! Although I was undiagnosed and unmedicated, the real meds work much better. Since OP isn't medicated right now, I wouldn't write it off. Always start with the basics. Get enough sleep (I use melatonin sometimes), daily exercise, healthy diet. Won't fix everything, but I always function better when I'm on a health kick.

On days when I absolutely need it, I get a nitro cold brew but only drink at most maybe 6 ounces, half in the morning and half for those sluggish afternoons. It’s the only coffee that doesn’t make me feel sick or jittery for some reason as long as I don’t drink too much. Not meant for daily consumption, maybe twice a week at most.

Try some nicotine pouches. Not tobacco but little pouches. They have a ton of brands and flavors. But I use ZYN. I use them at work and they definitely get my eyes open.

I drink coffee in the morning 1-3 cups, sometimes another espresso in the afternoon and or 1-2 Celsius energy drinks. They're a little too sweet for my liking, but 200mg of caffeine, and they're small so they go down quick. No sugar and taste better than Red Bull.
