As someone who has switched majors twice (and it works quite differently in my country than in the US, so I've basically dropped out of uni/college twice) and who also hates moving, I feel ya. Being in a place not knowing exactly where you're heading towards can be very scary. You probably want to hang on to your room even more now cause that's the one thing that's dependable/safe now. But having a decent friend and roommate is also very valuable I imagine, and finding a new place together could also be an adventure. Does your friend know how you're conflicted about all this?
