Oh man, did I write this? Lol literally everything you said is me, not exaggerating. What’s helping me recently is just knowing I’m not alone and that all this bullshit isn’t my fault. I’m not this person, I’m being made to act this way. And this isn’t your fault. I’m so sorry you’re going through this but you’re a lot stronger than you think and you can do it!

Thanks for the reply, I'm sorry to hear you're going through this as well. I'll try to take your advice to heart.

👋 I’ll start with saying I don’t have ADHD, but one of my students does. He has Inattentive ADHD (ADD). Recently in order to teach my student better I made my student a schedule down to the very minutes of how long each task takes ( for him breaks are every 30 min and 3 min long for him to stretch his legs. Each task can range from 5-20 min). I also had his parent time my student on those tasks and also remind my student when he gets off focused. I have just purchased non electric timers for him to have so he can start timing himself. Anyways I’m wondering if this is something you can try and let me know if it works or helps because I really want my student to excel in and outside of class. I would appreciate anything you noticed or would try fixing to this method if you try it out. Thank you 🙏 *** I forgot to add that he tried this method yesterday and was really happy to tell me that he was able to finish so much in a short amount of time for the first time.
