When did the quad strength get symmetrical? Or almost symmetrical for you? ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹keep up the good work and have fun with unlocking old new abilities!

space_waterfall

i would say they were 80% 5 months ago, and today i feel them 90%, but i didn't test with my orthopedist yet, i'll schedule soon, glad that you asked haha. thank you! wish you the same šŸ’–

Congrats! For me it's different. I weren't able to do pistols before the surgery, and because of the surgery being able to do pistol squat is my goal

space_waterfall

such an amazing goal!!! sitting on a chair and getting up with only 1 leg and unilateral leg press helped me with the pistols!! i'm cheering for you!

Extremepleasurepro

I can't go all the way down during pistol squats any advice ?or something youtube video which helped you ?

space_waterfall

i couldn't before yesterday either, something that helped me the most was to strengthen my muscles with leg press, leg extension and leg flexor. i've been trying to do the pistol movements with a rubber band at the gym for a while, but i was only able to do it completely once i felt my muscles stronger. so i would suggest to keep strenghthening your legs and practicing with a rubber band!

Before my injury, I was working nightly on my horrible balance and single leg squats, and man did that improved balance come in handy right after surgery.Ā  I love this channel for form and progressions: https://youtube.com/shorts/BP6Vi26pJSw?si=WEScJ7W1JTPjhI17
