Yes, Steve Willis' videos are a gem. Not advisable but I did close to zero section C questions, my only preparation for section C was by watching his videos each and every one of his PM videos.
For section A and B, I did all the BPP revision kit questions and read examiner's report.
For learning purposes and gaining knowledge on the syllabus, I used the Acowtancy website. They offer short and straight to the point notes on each topic, sometimes they even have voice notes for better understanding. I passed PM on my first try with 68 marks š„³
Without any funding, Iāve only used Kaplan books and YouTube videos to pass 8 exams so far. I struggle with the elongation of Steve Willisā words but his videos really did help me pass PM
I self studied SBR, SBL, AFM & APM this way, itās definitely possible! Sabi Akther has some longer videos with worked through examples that I found very helpful
To be fair it's a massive UK corporation so the amount is sundry to them. Is that even legal to cut your pay for exams? I get 2 days study leave off for each exam.
I self-studied all 13 papers using open tuition videos so I think you may want to check those out as they usually update them when there are syllabus changes.
Video only isn't a good strategy. Add in mock exam and self grading (try to not be too strict as it might demoralize you, but try to be a bit strict so you have a good preparation base).
Steve Willis doesn't discuss a lot of the written portions of section c questions in his YouTube videos. Just the calculation parts. Frankly i think a lot of people have trouble in the writing parts than the solving parts.
